The staff here are super friendly and the atmosphere off the place is great! The food is presented amazingly and with care, and it's tastes brilliant! We had the pulled pork bun, all day breakfast and shared a waffle. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
Lovely little independent cafe. Superb breakfast served with excellent customer service. We visited twice on our holiday and will definitely be back next year!

The people at Duckies always make us feel super welcome here! The breakfasts were are yummy and wholesome - I got the avo eggs Benedict. If you like your coffee creamy and frothy like me though, I would get the tea instead here. :-

Whenever we drive through Hayle, Duckies Cafe always catches our attention with its bright yellow building. Finally! over the weekend, my partner and I had brunch here. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who showed us to our table. I really like the cosy and homey feel of the cafe. Despite the cafe being packed with customers, the service was excellent: all the staff were friendly and attentive. Food here is made and cooked fresh. You can see Mike and another chef prepare them right in front of your eyes. I personally thought this was a nice touch to the cafe. Despite it being very busy in the kitchen, Mike even greeted us when we came in. I ordered poached eggs with avocado and Sausages on toast while the partner had a full breakfast. The food arrived to our table piping hot which was great of course. Highlight of the dining experience: This was a very nice personal touch as Mike personally came to our table to offer not only 1 but 2 types of spicy sauce when they didn't have sweet chilli sauce. Overall, both of us enjoyed dining at Duckies and cannot wait to be back to try more yummmyyyyy food! Thank you Mike and Duckies Team.
Amazing little cafe - best breakfast find in Hayle. The staff were happy to comply with special requests and the special Halloumi salad was amazing honestly great flavour combinations. The staff were lovely and friendly. It is also a dog friendly place which was great. The place also had art from local artists on sale on their walls which was a nice touch. The chef took great pride in the food as well, you could tell. Honestly lovely little cafe.
Second visit since discovering this wonderful cafe. Really excellent food, beautifully cooked, great flavours and big quantities! Coffee was gorgeous and HOT unlike many places. The staff were super friendly and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. People at the next table also clearly enjoyed their meal. We will definitely go back whenever we are over in Hayle. This cafe, where everything is freshly cooked and where they show that service matters is a great find! If yiu are in or near Hayle go there and be delighted as we were!
We had the most divine breakfast at duckies and the best poached eggs and hollandaise ever. The staff put themselves out for us to ensure we were comfortable. They were lovely especially Sophie. An absolute must to visit
What a little gem of a place. Welcomed into a charming cafe with good music subtly playing in the background, and a bright and airy seating area. The team were friendly and welcoming. The menu was clear, with enough detail to help you choose and made fresh so if you wanted to omit something from a dish this certainly wasn't too much hassle. Drinks were fantastic. Great pot of tea and the coffee was out of this world. Juices were lapped up my my offsprings. When the food came out, we were so impressed. It looked and smelled amazing, and the tastes and textures certainly outweighed the price. The team live and love cooking and you can tell. It was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough, a total star of a coffee and food place in the Heart of Hayle.
