Such a great place but staff are sometimes so rude and do not care think it's new staff or maybe they having a bad day.

This recently built, modern library has everything you need in a local community. You can order books from any Edinburgh library using the app and pick them up and drop them off here. They also have a nice quiet area for reading or studying as well as computers for kids and a toddler singing group. The staff seem to deal with the local teenagers well and it's a nice place to drop into to pick up a new book to read. I think they also serve coffee but I've never tried it.

It's exactly what the area needed,it's a very large open plan area down stairs, with places for reading/quite spots etc,upstairs has quiet areas to study/read/work and an adult computer room with 12 computers in it, excellent for mums with tots and kids in school,helps them communicate with each other and has a nice pleasant vibe,lots of diffrent things going on/groups etc. A big plus is they've took our kids offf the streets and gave them a place to hang out with friends(better than Them hanging around) bored) by providing a huge range of computers/ps3/xbox360/Wii games with a large amount of TVs to use with them and the staff are great with our local youngsters and are a good influence on them, having built up a excellent rapore with most of them. There's public access for all ages/ library/housing/coffee shop/food bank to name but a few services,in my eyes this was money very well spent,well done all off the team@drumbraehub
