Nice ground and very friendly people
Lovely place friendly people
Nice local facility. Bar comfortable, drinks at very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great mini and junior football pitches - best in the East Riding. Great for holding parties and other events.
I had a birthday function here last weekend and although we had a great time and the bar staff were friendly, we were initially made to feel uncomfortable by the host as she declared that we could not stand up inside or outside due to it being a clubhouse which we found very weird as we'd paid for the use of the venue.nAlso, whilst booking the venue my wife had an untoward phonecall with the host as she had started buying buffet food without being informed by us whether we even wanted a buffet or not, and the host even stated that she may ask us to pay the losses - luckily it didn't come to that as it was once again explained that we'd never actually agreed to a buffet.nAnother thing that was disappointing was that whilst booking the venue we were informed that it would close between midnight and 1am for us but the bar was shut at 11.30pm.nWe are still not quite sure how £70 is a fair price for sharing a venue with members and regulars, the only thing we got that they didn't was the opportunity to play our own music and put some decorations up.
Nice place went to the gala. Thought might be few more things there but enjoyed the two hours there.
