Lovely atmosphere in this pub. Very good selection of beers and ciders. Mostly local brews. 

Open Mic nights are very interesting.

This pub is on the small side so much better for a small intimate group.

well kept Ale, good range of  choices considering a micro pub, no annoying music, no cutesy or fake barn yard/victorian decco. great people at the bar - non of the you're not one of us regulars........ real current news of the day discussions, as a first time customer became one of the butchers dog 'family' within half an hour. furnishings clean, well cared for, only item not checked out was the loo. can't rate it high enough 😀
