I have wanted a tailored suit for a very long time so when the opportunity came up at an auction, I took it. A three piece double breasted suit with high waist trousers, loake shoes, two shirts and a tie. Easy to deal with, very accommodating when I had to rebook my appointments due to work meetings. I enjoyed that they were always quickly updating the meeting invites so that I could see it clearly in my calendar. It only took the initial meeting for measurements, second for adjustments, and third for final check. I have already enjoyed several compliments on it when wearing it to work. The only thing I could have done better was more research before coming in on what style and features I wanted e.g. trouser pleating, button details etc. as even though the staff were helpful, it felt like I was making a lot of decisions in a fairly short space of time materials, colours, cut, details.... Overall, I am a very happy customer and would recommend them
Just collected my new blazer. Great care in fit and attention to detail to give smart - and flattering - look! Pleased with the D2K quality of cloth and service over many years.
Was recommended by a good friend of mine and ordered one of their on-line suits for a wedding with only 3 weeks to spare. I was a little concerned but for 250 quid there was little to lose - I was amazed when the suit arrived - not only did it fit but it was also great quality and we had an awesome wedding. I promised to leave a glowing review - highly recommend these guys. Jeremy Have now gone back and tried one of their fully bespoke suits and I am delighted with it! It did cost double as much as the online suits but its very much worth it as the quality and finish is up a notch!
I was recommended Dress2Kill by my brother in law who spoke very highly of their suits and the experience. He has been using them for years. An appointment was arranged with the extremely friendly, professional and personable Sam. Jump to the day and three awkward and oddly shaped guys walk into the shop not knowing what to expect. We met Sam and he immediately put us at ease. He made it a very personable experience and did not stand on ceremony which suited us perfectly. We went for the initial sizing, the fitting and then collection, each visit was great. Very professional and relaxed at the same time. The suits were fantastic, when we went to collect, the suits fitted perfectly. While it is more expensive than off the shelf, obviously, the experience, fit and quality of the suit is worth every penny. I can't speak highly enough of Dress2Kill. If you're looking at buying a suit, spend that little bit more and taste what life is like after a visit. Thank you Sam! You've made believers out of three cynical men!
Great service, love the finished product, I will be back for more and I would highly recommend. Thank you
Do not use this tailors. I gave my suits in around 4 months ago, they have had to alter my suits for the 4th time now and they still aren’t right!!! Very slow service and if you’re looking to get what you want after 4 times of trying to get it right and still failing, then this is the tailors for you. Will not be returning, I spent north of 1.5k to get all of my suits tailored, when I should have bought 3 suits with that and got them tailored properly. Waste of time.
Good start to a then poor experience, seemingly over priced and bad customer service: I was recommended D2K by people close to me and spoke highly of their suits. I bought a jacket for my wedding as I wanted something special and tailored to wear which I've never done before. The initial appointment was positive and I was made to feel at ease. I paid 100% up front as I was told they do not take deposits for items under £1000. They were also kind enough to give me a small discount due to the people who recommended them. I was emailed quickly be warned the emails may go to your spam folder due to 'kill' being in the email address to explain my jacket / measurements were being sent to the tailor. The email also explained it should roughly take 6 weeks until I will be contacted for my next/first fitting. After 6 weeks I email to just check on progress. I was then told it should be any day now and I will be contacted by the admin team. I didn't hear anything for another 4 weeks, now 10 weeks from my original appointment. I would not classify this as 'roughly 6 weeks'. I called their number, no one answered and I left a message for a call back. I also emailed too. I also called the following day as I didn't get a call back from the first call. I did not get a call back from the second call either. For context, it is now 3 weeks before my wedding, D2K aware of this date and I hadn't had my first fitting 10 weeks in. My email must have been forwarded to the admin team as the person I was speaking with didn't reply. I do not live in London and work full time so was asking to see if the jacket would be done by a certain date I was able to come to London for. The admin team then replied with different dates, times and not to do with my initial questions. I then asked since I finally got some communication, does this mean my jacket is done and ready for a first fitting? I was told it wasn't, so was seemingly obsolete why they would try and book an appointment for me. When also speaking to someone on the phone, they stated my wedding date as the deadline, which was never the case and caused even more worry as it felt like they were not going to be ready after assuming their own deadlines whilst telling me to wait 6 weeks for contact and me having to make contact now 10/11 weeks in. After I sent an email stating my worries, which have never been acknowledged or apologised for. D2K responded stating my jacket is now ready and for me to book an appointment for my first fitting. When I attended my first fitting, unaware of the tailoring process, but worried if further alterations were needed as I only have 2 weeks left until my wedding, and also concerned over the poor communication. I went to D2K, when asked my name, I was shot a disgusted look by the receptionist. Which added even more anxiety to this alien process for me. After trying on the jacket, luckily it fitted nicely and I was happy to take it. As I was walking out, the tailor who did my initial appointment was there with the receptionist and both were rude in response, very much not wanting me in the shop and probably as I write this review, wouldn't want me back, which was the feeling I was given. Overall, yes I did get the jacket, yes it fits nice, no I don't think the price matches the jacket and definitely not the service I received. Would I recommend D2K, no. Would I go back, no.
I ordered 2 suits there. I'm living in Norway and contacted them via phone. They were very nice on the phone and on the first meeting with them. When I came back to get the suits I paid them on the first meeting, their attitude had totally changed. The measurements did not match. I had to wait for another 3 days to get it fixed. My plane was leaving the day after. They did some small adjustments, but still both suits did not look tailored at all. I tried going to a tailor in Norway to get it fixed, but the tailor told me the measurements are too far off. If you want a tailored suit, go to Bangkok. There they have amazing materials and the suit will be perfect made within 1 day and they will give you a fantastic experience. For me, the cost of ordering plane ticket to Bangkok and 2 suits was far less expensive than it cost me to order 2 suits from Dress2Kill, and the result was perfect. If you still would like to go to this store and order a suit; I recommend that you do not pay until it is properly tailored. 2018.05.13 - Today I got a letter from them. They are now threatening to challenge me with legal actions if I do not remove this review. This is the thanks I get for spending 3000 pounds in flight tickets, hotels and 2 suits that did not fit me.
First went here 4 years ago to have a two piece suit made for a wedding and christening I had coming up. I was very impressed with the service I received. I enjoyed a very personable experience with all staff and then I was passed onto Sam, who took me through the whole process thoroughly and expertly. This was my first experience of having a bespoke suit made and while I knew what i wanted in my mind, Sam was able to help me bring the suit to life! I still have the suit and have never had any issues with it! The personable experience and the amazing service has meant that I have been back regularly since for other suits and shirts! If you are looking for amazing service and a top quality suit I would highly recommend!
Sam, Rebecca and Sunil are not only excellent hosts but fabulous tailors. You can trust in Sam to help you select cloth and a style which flatters whilst Sunil has an eye fir detail which makes a suit fit to perfection. Absolutely recommend this great team, it's fun, professional and a great experience as well as value for money.
