Dr Chambers and Marta booked me in quickly and were welcoming and kind. local anaesthetic was absolutely fine for the gynecomastia removal i didnt feel a thing. big advantage being no stay in hospital etc. i had both glands cut out 4 months ago and am pleased with the way it looks now. recovery was good and they were very helpful with my follow up appointments. i was quoted over twice the price in two other places and both wanted general anaesthetic and stay over night.... save your money guys and go and see Dr Alex.
I have been visiting Dr Chambers and her clinic for many years now and am always grateful for her professionlism, knowledge and care. I trust her advice and have always been extremely happy with the long lasting results of the different procedures she has carried out for me. I am not in the habit of writing reviews but would not hesitate to recommend her services.
I have been seen by Dr. Chambers for 3 months for a condition that is not easily treatable. I was advised at the start of the process, what we are going to do and the timeline, and I have since been seeing Dr. Chambers every 2 weeks for UAB treatment as part of the process. I am pleased to report that after 3 months, my skin has made good progress and Dr. Chambers has continually kept me abreast of the developments and risks as we have progressed. I am also grateful to Dr. Chambers nurse who has taken good care of me during this time.
I had different treatments over the years in Dr Alexandra Cambers clinic. Dr A. Chambers is very knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and caring. Her team is very professional. I always have a great experience in her clinic. I trust everything she advises. Would and did recommend to my friends who are also grateful.
Not only is Dr Alexander Chambers beautiful, she is a very highly qualified and amazing doctor: she is also very understanding and versatile. Speaking as an older woman, I respect her and have all the confidence in the world that she gets where I am coming from almost before I have finished my sentence: Dr Chambers translates this into the low-impact and minimally invasive techniques she promises so that when I step out into the world again not only do I feel confident on the outside but I also feel comfortable and relaxed on the inside. Called to make an appointment, was given one. Went there. Was sat in a waiting room with a lot of other people. A lady who works for Dr Alex came in and questioned me in front of all these other people why I was there as I didn't have an appointment apparently. Asked to see my confirmation email. When I called there was no mention of being sent an email, was just given an appointment time. Was left to wait for over an hour after my original appointment time, with very little apology from the doctor when I was eventually seen. Was recommended to start a course of Recosma, 3-6 needed to make a difference at a cost for about £250 ago. Did one, which turned out to be ALOT more painful than I was told it would be. The doctor so seemed to go in extra heavy on the side of my face, near the ears where there are no scars at all. I left with scarf covering my face and scared alot of cab drivers with my bright red, swollen and painful face. Healing all went fine apart from the side bits where I was left with what looked like deep scratches for weeks from where she went over and over the, again, unscarred skin unnecessarily. I still have faint red marks on my face from this 3 months later. I called yesterday to see if I could book another appointment for the next one and ask about why she had gone so deep on skin I hadn't asked to be treated. I was told they were no longer doing Recosma, the only explanation given that the machine was to be sent to France. I was not offered any other advice or replacement treatment. I would not have started this course in the first place if I had known they would stop doing it. As one treatment would make very little impact I feel I have been cheated out of my money. I was also sold a £50 facial sunblock cream as was told after treatment I would need to keep face out of sunlight. On the website for Recosma, and the leaflet I was given at the clinic which I read on way home, it says there are no restrictions on sun exposure after treatment. Unprofessional, poorly organised and money grabbing. Go somewhere else.
I had minor surgery in Dr A. Chambers clinic and I'm very pleased with the result. The scar is so tiny and hardly noticeable. Personally I could not have wished for a better service. I have no hesitation in recommending this service to others!!
Great knowledge , and also very warm person who treats each patient very individually. I am so happy I met Dr Chambers on my way.
Very informative and caring. Provided me with a great surgical result.
