Lovely peaceful places to escape from the world, Definitely one of the best places to go for a nature walk in Staffordshire. Great Birdwatching and also Train Spotting. Although my preferred hobby is Photography which Doxey Marshes is utterly stunning for from wonderful wildlife photos of Herons, Swans, Egrets and a huge range of other birds as well as some amazing photos of trains too as a couple of months ago I managed to snap The Flying Scotsman as it went Steaming Southbound. It's a good place to bring your kids or your dog for a nice long peaceful walk.

Great place to see wildlife and just a short walk from Stafford Town Centre, worth visiting any time of year I prefer it there in Winter.

Great place for a walk, especially with dogs. Can go round the field, which is only 1/2 Mile, or round the marshes. Lots of birdlife. Wish there was a tearoom and loos there though.

A charming place. Tranquil, full of wildlife yet sandwiched between the west Coast line, the M6 and Stafford. Just a pity the rugby club are destroying part of it!
