Very tasty and different food. It is possible to taste genuine Indian in some dishes and a bit of a Mediterranean fusion in the others. Very good quality. Very friendly and welcoming staff, they gave us a little tour in the kitchen and we witnessed how clean and hygienic the kitchen was with equipment of good quality. Apparently, they will increase their vegetable options soon. Highly recommend to everyone!

I went for dinner alone last Friday night and very much enjoyed the experience. Doosra has a bar with a long, comfortable U shaped bar from which you can watch sports TV. I was quickly joined in the counter by the owners and other "regulars" who had the same dinner idea as me and made it a fun experience (I tend to feel awkward having dinner on a table by my own especially on a Friday night!) Good selection of drinks and beers but more importantly a unique menu where EVERYTHING, I was explained, is made in house from raw materials. From the bread, to the sauces and all desserts. Uncompromising home cooking Indian food experience for a price that reflects the quality of the overall experience.

Doosra - Amazing food, amazing service I went to Doosra last Saturday with my family. From the moment you step in you are greeted by very friendly staff. The restaurant is not your standard Indian restaurant, with fresh home styled food, the decor has personality and you can see the passion of the head chef. He took us through the menu and the stories behind his recipes to make recommendations which we were satisfied with. I especially liked the Signature Prawn Dish and the Tanzanian lamb curry. We will definitely be making a trip back soon as it's good to have such a gem in Surbiton.

Having dined at the finest Indian restaurants for over 20years this has to be the best Butter Chicken and Lamb dish ever. Quality organic meat at great value! The butter chicken, one of the hardest dishes to perfect, is delicately balanced between sweet and tangyness to give you taste buds a real stimulation. The Tanzanian lamb is juicy, succulent and melts in mouth with just the right level of oil that lots of restaurants get wrong. Since me and my family were recommended Doosra, we drive down from South Bucks regularly to enjoy the food and experience.

Absolutely brilliant! Greeted by very helpful and friendly staff straight away, lovely place warm and chilled atmosphere. Food was amazing! Everything about the evening was perfect. 10/10 nothing could have been improved. Will definitely become a regular thing :)
