My little one 2 year old comes to the with parent class and absolutely loves it. Every week she is asking for gymnastics and for the coaches that teach her. The classes are fun but also with gymnastics. They sing songs and have bubbles and stickers at the end. Would highly recommend!
My little boy attends a preschool class on Fridays. The coaches and sessions are so much fun. He loves the dancing warm ups and games. The class is structured to suit his age. And he looks forward to the bubbles and stickers at the end of the session. The centre has a lovely cafe and seating/viewing area. It has a variety of things on the menu, hot and cold options and plenty of tea and cakes.
Both of my children attended the original location for gymnastics we done our first session at the new location and the kids loved it all the same! The teachers are so lovely with the kids and really make an effort when they're abit nervous coming into the session. My son is autistic are they were great with him and very accommodating to myself in the session! Much appreciated thanks for all the hard work ladies
Poor customer service. Very unfriendly. We late because we stuck on the motorway luckily they let my daughter in for lesson, however as soon as we turned back at door a red No Entry string was pulled to block our way back to the coffee or the viewing area. Than Theresa just walked back to sit behind her desk. Very disappointed with the customer service as we were coming here for 6 years and paid so much money for that.
What a wonderful party. All the kids and the Mum's loved!! Some the feedback from the parents was how great it was to have everything supplied by Dolphina. From personal experience the two parties I have had for my kids here, the entertainment, food, level of service from the staff are all incredible and the speedy way the food arrived after playtime was faultless. The room upon entering for dinnertime was clean and looked all party ready with all the tablecloths etc. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends which I have done many a time. Thank you so much for a great party!
When I was a child I spent 6 years in this gymnasium and I did not develop and advanced skills due to poor support I’m Older now and I feel bad for my parents who paid good money for lessons I took. My best friend did gymnastics with me aswell and witnessed the unprofessional behavior And poor support by some of the staff One time she was talking to me just before we started doing some practices and one of the coaches heard her and mistaked a word she said for a swear word even though my friend had explained she didn’t swear and told my friend to sit out the practices we were doing that was shocking because of course she wasn’t going to get better if she is going to sit out .we found that this behavior is childish and unacceptable I now go to a different place and I have already nailed my y-balance and stag handstand Thankyou for reading and . you can read my friends review Sophie .
This is two former gymnasts writing this review. The reason we put one star is firstly, we have been at the Dolphina for 6 years and still don’t know how to do the splits or hold a handstand for even 5 seconds not because we didn’t practice at home but because the coaches did not give the correct support. But what is more disappointing to us is that we learnt a lot of our tricks at home, both of us almost got our splits in an hour just by stretching at home and we got more progress in one hour then in the 6 years we have been there. Secondly it is so expensive just for a term I feel bad for our parents paying this amount of money. One of us still do gymnastics but at a different place which I’ve only been for a year and I’ve nailed my y-balance and front walkover. But as for me I dont do it as I don’t feel a connection with the sport anymore from past experience and who know I could have become an amazing gymnast in the future. Lastly the coaches are unprofessional and rude. One time I messed up on a move and everyone knows that everyone makes mistakes, I guess my coach didn’t know that as instead of helping and encouraging me, she made a childish ‘Ewww’ at me, looked to the other gymnasts and said’ definitely don’t do it like her” but you could tell she wasn’t making a joke.we are now a little bit older to realise this behaviour is unacceptable and should have done something earlier thanks for reading.
My daughter has been attending Dolphina since 2014 and her progression and development over the years has been great. The gymnastic equipment is brilliant and the classes are very well structured and organised. There is a lovely cafe on site and viewing gallery. My daughter also had a birthday party at the gym, her friends and my daughter had such a good time. Would highly recommend!
I am very disappointed with Dolphina's customer service. They are not communicating important information to parents of gymnasts. My daughter was denied entry to her session as I was told there is 10 minutes lateness policy. This policy was not previously communicated to me even though it is a second year my daughter is now attending to this gymnastic center. Since joining I received only one email from the center telling me to collect the “welcome pack” that they run out of on the first session. Debbie secretary/receptionist was not feeling obliged to apologize for not communicating their policies. It left me very disappointing and upset. Classes to me are way too crowded. My daughter was left crying at her first session. She didn’t have any warm up, even though I was told that it is dangerous to attend session without one. Very young instructors running classes don’t have any knowledge on how to approach young and distress children. This center is a shambles!
A well run establishment with excellent facilities. They put the gymnasts first and are always pushing them to achieve their best. When I needed help with getting my child to the gym during the summer holidays, as both of us work, the gym contacted all the parents of that group to try and help us. Having spent 7 years in another gym with my daughter, the difference is unbelievable. We had very little contact with our previous gym and had no idea how our child was faring. With dolphina there is regular contact with parents using sms and emails and also social media. Very impressed!
