We were caught in a bind as we failed our MOT and needed repairs at short notice.  Dennis was really helpful and kept us up to date with what he was doing.  Highly recommended and definitely going to be a regular customerService:&nbsp;General repairs &amp; maintenance

It gives me great peace of mind to have a great garage I can rely on to help me with my car and van issues. I worked as a motorcycle mechanic for many years and it's blatantly obvious me me that Dennis is the real deal. Pricing is very reasonable and the service is second to none. I highly recommend this garage! :-

Dennis and his staff provided me with the best service I have ever experienced with a garage. I have a 1987 VW T25 that needed a new engine. I'd had some unfortunate encounters with two other mechanics that left me out of pocket but Dennis completely reassured me in our first telephone contact that I was speaking to someone who could do the job properly and he absolutely did. A friendly and professional service I have recommended to everyone and will continue to do so.

I have been using Direct Services for as long as I can remember, before they moved to the current address in Stevenage. Always helpful and very good at what they do I recommend them to all my friends who likewise have received great service from Dennis and all the guys up there. I should say Dennis is one of the few mechanics that has grown up with cars and one of the few that can still weld.

Hey all .. Just wanted to say that Dennis has helped me out big time once when my car completely broke down and I had nowhere to turn .. he was the only one after phoning lots of garages for help to say certainly.. I got it to him and he diagnosed the problem and got it all sorted for me . This was quite a while ago now and the car is still running fab ... he also sorted out my M.0.T at a later date . It’s so good to find a genuine hard working garage .. who go out of their way to help you out .  I will always stick with Dennis and his team now from here on in . Fab work guys .

I have used Direct Services for more than five years now on different makes and models. I would testify that the expertise and service is great throughout. I have not someone who understands vehicles as Denis. The diagnostic equipment they use I think it is to confirm his interpretation.

I have used Dennis for about 25 years now, moving with him as he has changed from being mobile through the various premises and Graveley was hardly convenient.  I even stopped using my own brother-in-law, who owns a garage near where I work.  I can't agree with the negative reviews or they must be talking about a different company.  I have known Dennis fix things on the spot and the car has only needed to stay overnight when the task is large or there has been a problem with part delivery.  And I have left the car with money in it.  I think what I appreciate is his approach to spending my money; he only ever suggests doing the work that needs to be done, and looks for ways to do it cheaper.  This is as genuine and honest a company as you can expect, and a good deal more personal.

I've used DS for many years and many cars, and have found them to be capable, thorough, friendly and honest.  Because they are proper, experienced mechanics they sometimes find things that would be missed by other garages - especially those that drop apprentices/juniors in at the deep end and don't supervise them properly, or work only to a checklist and don't use their eyes and experience to do a better job.  I am a happy customer and know of several other friends & family who are too.

I used this company for my Audi car service.  Audi quoted over £350 and these guys charged under £200.  Not only that they picked up and returned my car from work.  Excellent service and great value, highly recommended.
