one of the best kids play ground I've visited with my kids. Enough choice of different kind of play, neat but of course busy. The play ground is nicely arranged with different section which you need to explore. It's is not in 1 go visible, which is good for kids to be able to explore. It was summer time but too bad the water playground is not availableno water
This park was amazing! Tons of little passageways through the gardens and structures. Lots of sensory things to explore like musical gongs, speakers that play different nature sounds, and water features that are activated by the kids. Also the pirate ship has a crows nest that is completely enclosed and accessible by steps and a climbable rope netting. Also very SAFE for kids and parents. This park is completely fenced in and has a guarded entry where no adult without children is allowed to enter. I was able to relax and let my kids run around while doing some walking and exploring myself. Highly recommend!
The Princess Diana Memorial Playground is a brilliant place for children. It’s well-designed with a pirate ship, sand areas, music wall, and lots of space to explore. It is closed with a fence with one way in and out controlled by the officer. there are a lot of benches for parents to relax. The garden is clean and well-maintained, though it can get quite busy on weekends. It has a public toilet as well as a caffe with some strret food and coffee. Overall, it’s a great spot for families to enjoy a fun day outdoors. Highly recommended if you're in London with kids! Mind the opening hours.
This is the best maintained playground in London. The playground, it’s all gated and there are more than one security guard. And I even saw a cleaner picking up trashes from the playground. The playground is nice and clean. It is so rare in London. There are few main areas in the playground. In summer, the water fountain is on. There is a ship in the sandpit. Some areas are more suitable for younger kids. Remember to bring spare clothes for your little ones.
It’s a lovely, serene park that surprisingly fits quite a bit into a seemingly small space. It’s well maintained and the busy toilets were closed down every hour to be cleaned. We enjoyed the sand area as well as the park. A hidden gem in plain site.
What a cute little park for families and kiddos. The carousel and various other activities for the kids is just great! We visited on a weekday in July 2024 and saw so much activity and families enjoying their day. It was very heart warming. Would highly recommend for families and couples! Will definitely be back when visiting the area.
This playground is located in the Kensington gardens and has a door where you need to be buzzed in to be able to enter. Only people with kids will be allowed in. There is a coffee stand just outside the gates with a seating area to enjoy the drinks or food you brought. The playground features a very big ship and a couple play areas each with a separate theme. Besides the ship we also very enjoyed the climbing/slide equipment. There is also a sand play area which we definitely avoided to make sure our daughter didn’t became too dirty.
Really great place for kids, lots to do of good variety. Wonder if council needs to rethink safety look at photo. If the kid who somehow managed to climb all the way up there falls, I’d say it’s game over.
The Dian Memorial Playground is a delightful oasis for families and children of all ages. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the playground features a variety of engaging play structures that cater to toddlers and older kids alike. The well-maintained equipment, including swings, slides, and climbing frames, provides endless fun and opportunities for physical activity. The playground's thoughtful design includes shaded areas, benches, and picnic spots, making it a comfortable place for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their children. Safety is clearly a priority, with soft, cushioned surfaces to prevent injuries and clear signage to guide visitors. Moreover, the playground's cleanliness and the regular presence of friendly staff contribute to a welcoming and secure environment. The landscaping is charming, with vibrant flowers and greenery enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. Whether for a quick playdate or a leisurely afternoon, Dian Memorial Playground stands out as a top choice, offering a perfect blend of fun, safety, and natural beauty.
It's quite popular for families with kids. The playground has sensory areas such as: sand, music, nature, climbing, water features, picnic kids' role play etc.... It's a very safe place as it has a controlled gate with security guards, and it's free.
