Nice quiet station. Giving 4 stars because didn’t use the toilets. Staff was helpful.
A small station that has plenty of character to it. There was a good amount of seating and shelter available on the platform,
Departure time was 5 30AM the place was dead no seating had to stand in the freezing cold alongside a drunk man. No staff or security in sight not shops or waiting area….felt very unsafe defo needs a upgrade and more staff deployed. Dont go here alone
A great old station, but unfortunately some key parts haven't been updated. It is in need of a deep clean because it is filthy. Some staff can be surley, and others lovely. It's up a very steep hill from the bus station which can be difficult for people with accessibility needs though this isn't the fault of the station. The seats are far too narrow and uncomfortable if you have a fuller figure, they're clearly designed for smaller persons.
Pretty good looking station to go with the picturesque town of Dewsbury. It's also quite well catered in terms of facilities as lifts are provided to connect the other platforms, giving step free access. A ticket office and set of ticket barriers are provided and there's also a cycle park on the platform too.nnServices are decent, except when there are delays. But considering the operators, you shouldn't hold your hopes up.
