A refreshing change to the usual Indian food which relies heavily on coloured sauces. Dev’s has a range of dishes that aren’t as familiar in the UK but are well worth a look, it’s also very good value for both eat in and take away. It’s bring your own, you can pick up chilled wine and beer at supermarkets within 100 metres so this adds to the value. The food is south Indian but will also be familiar to anyone who’s been to Sri Lanka, including lots of rotis and hoppers along with simple and well-made curries.

We arrived and stood around like a pair lemons waiting to be greeted The restaurant was very very noisy and chaotic. We were given a tiny circular table that was uncomfortable and too small.. The restaurant appeared to have lost control of its rowdy customers. The staff appeared to be running around without focus . We were hoping for a quiet table for a relaxed evening.Impossible! We got up and left.

Best South Indian food in Bristol, had the most soft idlis and yummy sambhar. A must go place if you ar die hard fan of south indian authentic food

Great wee place with excellent food at an amazing price. It's bring your own bottle. The staff are lovely and attentive.
