Popped in here for a quick spot of tea with my friend Mags, she had the corned beef pie and I had the steak and ale pie Both came with chips and fresh cooked veg with lashings of gravy so delicious…. followed by the apple crumble and custard Would highly recommend
Lovely relaxed country pub. Very dog friendly, even gave us a bowl so we could give our lab some dinner. Friendly staff and great tasty home made food
Just a 30 min walk along the beautiful railway. We stubled across the Derwnr walk Inn. What a pleasant surprise with a HUGE menu. I challenge anyone not find something they like. I went for the pork in a red wine and it was delicious! Very generous portions too.. Friendly staff and a lovely restaurant space. Would highly recommend.
Went with friends for lunch, was very disappointed to find that a Jenning’s, Cask Marque pub had No Cask Ales available. The food we had was OK but nothing special and the area we were sat wasn't very warm.
Visited on a Thursday late evening. Party of 4. Table seating was comfortable and sufficient .. a very country vibe. Not too busy. Good customer service .. polite and attentive. Food was good .. nicely portioned and with a good plate setting. Looked appetising and tasty. Deserts were very good .. classics like jam rolly polly .. exactly the way you'd like it. Well done.

What a gem of a place. Plenty if atmosphere. The staff were polite. Drinks were lovely and cold. My partner ordered the Derwent berger meal and I ordered the enchilada meal. They were both beautifully plated on spotlessly clean plates and the meals were generous in size and extremely tasty. The meals arrived quickly, were hot and looked very fresh. Great value. Will definitely be returning and would recommend
Great atmosphere. Open fire was amazing! Staff are lovely and food portions are large. Will certainly visit again when in the area.
