Set a stopwatch on your phone when parking up. I forgot to do this and had to leave the shops about 2.5 hours as I wasn't sure exactly when I had parked.nnVery busy on saturday so may be unlucky to get a space anywhere on the car park.

Love shopping in dereham and the parking is free

The areas are time restricted but are free at the moment. The park behind Iceland has just been updated and I have had reason to use it since, but it looks better.

Be careful,!! There is a three hour limit and no pay and display machines. I do not mind paying my way, but when there are no obvious ANPR camera notices you can pay heavily for any time over the three hours.nnI was 13 minutes over the three hours and had to pay £75.00 including an admin fee to my leasing company. The fine itself was £55.00.nnWhat a rip off!!
