Really good staff, very helpful. Didn't have to wait to long.
Came in today and spoke to Alice- friendly and professional customer service, got everything sorted for me in no time.
Called in today along with my 11 year old son to open a child's current account. Not very impressed with the customer service. First off we were incorrectly informed that my 11 year old would have to apply online. I pointed out to the second person who dealt with us that according to your website under 13's can't apply online and that the website states that such an account can be opened in branch. We then were informed that we were unable to open a child's current account in branch as they don't have the facilities to and that the staff required to do this were all working from home wish i had that option!!. After consulting the branch manager the staff member returned to us and informed us both to return after the 20th September when they will have a tablet in branch to carry out the request! I'm amazed that a big successful building society cannot equip their main branch in a city with basic equipment to carry out a basic request! Personally I think this is abysmal, especially when there were other people in the same branch opening accounts. Why is it different for a child who wants to open an account? As a customer of the Nationwide for over 20 years which they keep proudly reminding me of, every time I log in I would expect customer service to reflect that. Maybe its time I reviewed my own banking choices.
I don't make a habit of writing reviews of banks but in this case it was a must! Every bank I visited told me that you can't have an account address overseas. The lady I asked here told me to wait and she'll see what she can do. After consulting with her colleagues, talking with the manager, making phone calls, all of which took up a lot of her time she told me it was possible. I arrived after 2 weeks at my abode abroad and there it was, my debit card and an unlocking of my account. That's what I call thinking outside the box. Good work Nationwide!
Absolute life savers. After having a problem all week and due to complete on a house purchase the staff helped sort the problem out. Thanks to Tracey and I didnt catch the other woman's name but they have made my afternoon alot less stressful. Thanks once again.

Lovely friendly helpful staff who are knowledgeable and I have always got all the help and advice I need whenever I go there
It's a bank, what do you expect. Modern interior with friendly staff and machines where you can cash in cheques etc. quickly. Normally a little queue but not really an issue. Lots of seating also, incase you have to wait.
Staff are always so nice and with the deposit machines it makes my bank trips less than a Minute!
