Good market, some of the stall holders don't let you leave the stall they just keep trying to shove more items on to you which only makes you wanna leave more. Good variety of items, the dogs are cute, some stalls have good prices some want mortgage money for outdated electronics.
Vibrant area for food and drink to suit all tastes. Have visited SODO pizza in the market and the quality of the pizza is excellent, local, in season produce is used wherever possible. Pizza bases all produced by hand and proven to excellence. The wide choice of beers matches the wide and eclectic choice of pizza toppings. A must have place to visit …
Lovely market. Good selection of reasonable priced things. Ranging from clothes to shoes. To fresh fish and you can feel the comunenity feeling here . Lovely.... Enjoyed
Traditional street market catering to the local community. The usual everyday necessities; fruit + veg, budget clothes, home-ware, fabric and some collateral bits. Combative prices, testy traders, banter and see-you-later.
After working here and being in the area as a customer things have really gone down hill. Appear Here is always trying to make things every corporate and is forcing out the values of Deptford. They do nothing to help vendors and address ongoing issues, which is why some are leaving like little nans.
Need more sell items. Open during weekend. Reach here from Depford DLR or train. Do not buy Tangerine from here..sour..unless you like sour tangerine. Open Friday and Saturday.
poor area. a lot of tramps. There's almost nothing to see here.
Deptford market yard has got a lot of stalls. Visiting on a Saturday it is super busy, and a shame to see most cake stalls sold out of cakes. But lots of tasty options regardless.
Nice and diverse place. There is also a fleamarket on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays definitely worth visiting.
Its coming back to life after lock down. The arches that the shops are located in have a great lock reminiscent of railway arches. I can see it being a cool place in the middle of Deptford real South East market used by the locals. As long as we dont go back into lock down I think these small businesses should stand a chance of making a go of it again.
