The dispatcher was passively aggressive, rude, impolite and unkind. He was interrupting me, he was kind of telling me off too. He was even disagreeing when I was trying to correct my personal details. And it ended up by being hung up on my face without any outcome. I have tried to call again but nobody was picking up. I'm sorry but my experience was really unpleasant. And the last thing I was expecting is a non compassionate, unprofessional, cold and non empathetic attitude. I felt like I should behave the way he wanted because he was making me a favour. I've tried to be as nice and approachable as possible, but no luck. That's really depressing, upsetting and makes things worse deteriorating further my personal circumstances...
Would give 0 stars if i could, sent many threatening letters about debts that i have arranged with them 5 times to do a payment plan with. Ive asked for confirmation that they will set up a payment plan and take the money but they never do and now im getting threatening letters even though ive contacted them 5 times about making a payment. PLEASE DO YOUR JOBS PROPERLY! I dont need this unnecessary stress, take my money and leave me alone
Not sure if this is a scam letter, as there no reason why I owe £18.50 on the letter and your Threatening me with court action over £18 or which will affect my credit rating. Which it won’t as it’s not a loan and I haven’t signed a contact also I am self employed so you won’t be attaching anything to my earnings so stop your bully boy Intimidating tactics here we are in the grip of a cost of living crisis and your behaving like this over £18.00 BROKEN BRITAIN BROKEN GOV TAKE TAKE TAKE.
I have tried every single day for the last four weeks to get through by telephone as my query is not answerable online. I have pressed every single option approximately 50 times a day and You just get an engaged tone and cuts you off. This is an absolute disgrace especially as it is designed for elderly people
As someone who speaks fluent English, has good GCSEs and A-Levels, an honours degree and 10+years management experience, there is something that this department must be getting wrong if I am unable to get skilled work. My initial thoughts are that it might be something to do with being a woman and I may also have been disadvantaged by my private school education. I worked as a physics teacher for many years and experienced many issues with recruitment processes which the Dfe see separate reviews were contacted about and the MP for my constituency but didn't help. In the end, I did not receive any support and the last straw for me was when an agency sent me to supervise students in a classroom with a serious electrical hazard incidentally the same school where I had already had already had an injury in the past. This was my last day in teaching and any work, nearly 3 years ago. Please read my reviews of recruitment agencies and the job centre to see the types of barriers that I still have to deal with repeatedly. The concern for me is the pattern forming of what I experience when I try to find work , rather than each event taken in isolation. When I attempted to take a matter to tribunal see separate review, I was put off when the pre-hearing process and subsequent complaints process wasn't carried out correctly. Should a female physicist be in this situation in modern Britain today?.
The waiting for a an “advisor” to pick up is dreadful. What a waste of time and effort. Honestly can’t stand how this system works. The Government is essentially a massive business and they are pathetic. If they were operating under normal conditions, they’d be shut down. Why is it that I have to hold for 1 hour or longer… and just so I can dispute something that they already have knowledge of.
Phoned twice regarding my new tax liability, as they are supposed to inform HMRI that my financial circumstances have changed and to tax me appropriately. This is been going on for 3 months, would like to email or wite so I've got something in writing. Hopeless.
I have never come across a service worse than this. The government should be ashamed. It’s appalling - inefficient, unprofessional, unhelpful and unsympathetic and that’s IF you can speak to anyone. I have been trying for months to resolve an issue relating to my deceased husband. Still no success.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Absolutely useless in every way possible. I have called over 25 times and can't get through to someone. When I did finally get through to them I was promised a call back within 5 days, 14 days have passed and no such call arrived. I am now trying to get through to them again. I have called over 10 times today and still can't get through to anyone. Well done DWP!
