Lovely polite service. Cheap. Just thrown my fish away. I was surprised at price, I suspect it's Pollock not cod or haddock. Won't be returning.
Food is always cooked to perfection and is cooked fresh when you order. Generous portions. The people are lovely and chatty.
Best fish and chips in Yorkshire worth a trip out
We are so lucky to have this traditional chippy in Denholme village. After a change of ownership last year, the new couple really have worked wonders. Everything they cook is delicious but the haddock is absolutely top notch. I can’t recommend this chippy enough.
Beautiful fish and chips and lovely people running it too
Called in tonight and really enjoyed our fish and chips loved the curry sauce. Tasted delicious reminded me of how they tasted when we got them from shanks terminus chippy years ago. Highly recommend them everyone was really friendly and helpful with allergies. Cooked one portion in rice flour. Thank you we will definately return.

Great fish and chips and proprietor was very nice to stay open past their usual closing time to make us some fresh F&C’s for our lunch, which was much appreciated!
