We visited here as friends for a catch up, my first time visiting. What a beautiful restaurant! Very friendly staff although a little slow sometimes, and not very busy when we visited. The food though was amazing - so fresh and tasty! Really enjoyed our visit and I will definitely return. The chicken and mushroom penne was to die for! Beautiful desserts as well. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. My only qualm was that we were seated by the window and there are no blinds or window shades - so the sun was in our eyes the entire meal. But still, will definitely be back! Thank you Parking: Only a few spots in front of the restaurant, shared with the pub next door.

I totally enjoyed everything about the experience at Bardolinos, the place has a warming atmosphere, the front of house staff are very charming and polite, if you sit in the right place you can see the chef do his business and what a fantastic job that was, didn't have to wait to long for each course, we couldn't manage a dessert but we saw what was on offer and it looked very nice, make sure you book because it does get busy it is definitely worth a visit. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. This is a busy place for a reason. The food is always excellent and the portions so good, that I can't always manage a dessert! The staff are efficient and good natured even though they are busy. I just wish it was nearer to where I live...Food: 5/5
Very nice main meal cooked by real people who you can see cooking if you are in the right place or have the interest to look. Excellent staff who are very helpful and know the menu, have opinions, which are worth asking and are efficient and friendly without being intrusive. I have passed this place since it opened most working days without trying it. Having retired, I was able to try it at lunchtime, having the time for the first time. Really enjoyed it and will most likely be going back soon. Forgot to add. Don't have too much for lunch. Take a look at the cakes! Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options not the usual one or two. They were very close choices to the actual meat content ones we chose in the end. Parking: There seemed to be plenty of off road parking to the front though schools out and I imagine it might be tighter to park during term time. Quite busy at lunchtime today. Wheelchair accessibility: Slight downhill from the road edge, no step. Can't answer as to accessibility of the loos as I had no need to investigate. But plenty of room around the tables.

Our favourite restaurant, for all the right reasons! We have been enjoying this wonderful place for a couple of years now, and our visit last night was as exceptional as always. The food is just sensational; superb produce cooked and prepared by chefs who clearly love their craft. The service and atmosphere match up to the food beautifully. The added extra is the friendly owner who takes time to speak to his patrons. My only concern about writing such an excellent review, is that it will be even harder to get a table at this gem
