Decathlon, was established in 1976 (Lille, France). After a decade of growth, the brand expanded into the European market and eventually worldwide with over 1000 stores. Launching in the UK in 1999, Decathlon is now one of the world’s largest sports retailers, boasting 30 stores in the UK and a strong relationship with ASDA. Therefore making “sport accessible to all” by offering best value equipment with great sports advice and services such as 365-days return, bike repairs, free running events etc.

Went because of a flat bicycle tire. I was told that the technician wasn't in until later. I asked the young boy if I could just pump my tire to get me home. He said no you have to buy a pump.nnThen the store manager came over and said actually it's no problem at all. There were only two employees working there on a Wednesday 02/10/24. Were hugely grateful for such excellent advice and service from Tom and Aidan. They helped us so much with our tent which is itself brilliant and we are really impressed with Decathlon's emphasis on sustainability too. Thanks also to Chris for great customer service and pointing us in the right direction. Fab team, great ethos.
Thank you for jumping on me to tell me your closing in 15 minutes as I walked through the doors. I will take my money elsewhere then.
Ordered a pair of walking shoes told would be in store within a week and would phone when in. After 10 days, Rung Store knew nothing about the order, advised wait few more days. After a month, I drove to the store and asked staff member they knew absolutely nothing, l mean nothing just wandered off another staff member ,then asked if l was OK l explained again , they went to the back to check if order was in couldn't find it so we went to shop floor luckily they had my size on display last pair, put hand in and there was my details written on a piece of paper and placed inside one of the shoes. Nobody knew how it got there or about my order. I at least got my shoes. Not a lot else can say.
