I went to the hat department at Debenhams  Meadowhall to buy a hat for a wedding. The racks and decor were tatty and there was no mirror. I found an assistant and asked where the mirror was and she said the nearest one was at the other side of the next department, about 30 metres away. I had several bags of shopping and i couldn't be bothered to carry each hat over there to try it on so I went to another shop. Debenhams isn't the shop it used to be and I'm not surprised to hear that profits are down.

We didn't actually perchase anything at this Debenhams:- my Wife wanted a dress for an evening party and we had a look around the Meadow Hall Debenhams - the Debenhams was stocked well and there was loads of items to choose from.

Good range of clothing, however, had to return on two different occasions damaged goods. Product control needs to be improved.

Nice department store with everything under one roof. Staff nice and helpful.
