De Vere Latimer Estate

I have been hired twice now to decorate for events here and I will say the surroundings are amazing. Very large open space, beautiful and wide outdoor files. The rooms are great in size and ideal for hosting weddings, birthday parties or corporate events. With adjustable mood lighting in rooms to make changes your desired theme. They allow for outside catering also and in house staff are very friendly and helpful

Had a birthday weekend here. I have read other reviews on this hotel but can honestly say we had no problems. Food and service was excellent. Would have no hesitation returning.

Lovely country hotel. Venue with Neely refurbished rooms. This venue has lovely classic bedrooms with small quirky features like Dyson fans. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The conservatory restaurant is grand and very nice. The venue has lovely views and is really nice for a break from the city.

We were on the hotel as part of our vacation. We were in the North Wing. They also call these Contemporary Rooms. The rooms are quite nice if slightly small when you have a lot of luggage. The common areas including the restaurant and library/bar are very nice, and we found the prices reasonable. Only downsides: the bathrooms are a little claustrophobic and the room windows are small and offer a very limited view. The latter is not a problem though... Head down to the Library for a pint either in the beautiful library hall or outside on the terrace.

Attended a 4 day residential training course held in one of the conference rooms here. The hotel felt corporate rather than cosy, but not a bad comment as the facilities were excellent, restaurant served good food and staff were friendly, bar prices reasonable. The bedrooms were of a very good standard and warm, mine looked recently built. The pool and gym adequate for a quick splash/stretch. My only negative comment was is that one night there was a party of young "hooray Henry's" who made a racket until well after midnight in the bedroom corridor, and outside, and left tore-up paper on the floor; not the hotels fault but management could have nipped it in the bud before they had had too much pop and got giddy.
