I really appreciated the time Damien took with me to understand and listen to my needs, carefully assess every factor that might contribute to onward issues, and also be very personable and approachable. Approaching a new physio can be daunting, but getting everything checked and being able to feel comfortable is very important so it’s great that I was able to find him. Damian at Godiva Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries clinic has been absolutely phenomenal assisting me over the last year with my knee injury. I was recommended to Damian by a friend following a long winded experience with my first physio who kept dragging it out over more sessions. From the get go, I was impressed with Damian’s enthusiasm and attention to detail, he wasted no time and helped me get referred for an MRI immediately. Since then Damian has gone above and beyond by taking phone calls, emails and texts, guiding me to get the right help in times of confusion. I cannot recommend him enough, he is completely client driven and his wealth of knowledge and experience is second to none.
Totally recommend Damien, his professionalism, caring attitude and dedication to the client. He definitely sped up my 83 year old mum's recovery from a femur operation and got her back on her feet much quicker than expected. Excellent service all round.
Brilliant advice on how to improve my ankle, gave me lots and lots of specific exercises, explained fully how to do them, and why -and very professional. Also gave me a lot of his time and used all of it to try and give me as much advice as possible.
Damien is a great physio. Went to see him back problems and the worry that I might be playing football in pain forever. After a chat about my history and an examination on my back. He knew what the issues were and how to hopefully rectify them. After a few sessions and giving me the stretches and exercises to do my self my back is feeling great and no longer play football in pain. Which has bought me much happiness and relief. Not only is Damien a great physio he is a top bloke aswell. He explains and simplifies everything so it's easy to understand his methods. He makes you feel comfortable and is very easy to get on with. I now have a physio for life and can't recommend him enough. Definitely 5 stars
My first visit to Damien with lateral knee pain on my left leg which had been going on for several weeks. Damien did a very thorough assessment and diagnosed a tight IT band. He then gave me advice and a set of exercises to work through. He did not try to book me in for more unnecessary treatments but instead asked me to update him in a weeks time. A week later and having followed his advice my knee is now almost back to normal. I found Damien friendly and extremely knowledgeable and would not hesitate to recommend him.
I had an excellent experience when I went to see Damien with an injury to my glute earlier this year. I immediately felt welcomed and at ease, and he used a holistic approach to diagnose the problem. Once this had been determined, it only took 4/5 sessions of physio and him giving me exercises to do at home for the pain to completely disappear! I have recommended his services to multiple friends and family, and would return to Damien if I ever had any problems in the future!
Only 1 session with Damien and my wife’s condition drastically improved. Before, she was in extreme leg pain and could hardly move. But now she is getting better and everything for us is normal again. Although she is still in recovery stage, Damien did an excellent job in giving therapy to my wife’s leg injury with just 1 visit. I highly recommend Godiva Physiotheraphy & Sports Injuries Clinic. Thank you Damien.
I visited Godiva Physiotherapy as I had injured my knee I received excellent treatment from Damien over three visits consisting of massage, acupuncture and exercises to strengthen the muscles supporting my knee. The treatment, was spot on and my knee continues to improve. A big thank you Damien for your service.
Having suffered with chronic neck and trapezius pain and after months of sports massages, I decided to contact Damien. This was the best decision that I could have made, following my initial consultation Damien started a holistic treatment plan which has definitely helped elevate my problems.
