Chicken buriyani was dry and bland. Pilau rice and butter chicken was ok. Nan bread was nice and samosas. Wont order from here again. Had to throw the mains away. Very disappointed given other reviews

day of the raj express is a family run business and I have been ordering from them for many years. food is always amazing and the people that pick up the phone and deliver the food are always presentable. it's a real pleasure dealing with this take away as you know the food is always fresh and they have a 5* hygiene rating so you know the food you are ordering is coming from a clean kitchen. highly advise anyways that wants a lovely Indian to visit day of the raj express. keep it up guys. see you soon

The pictures show a restaurant but I feel these were taken from the old (now closed) restaurant on Mill Hill Broadway. This is a small building which only does takeaway and delivery. Food options are varied but in my opinion bland and and of a lesser quality given the price. We have had a takeaway a few times, desperate to give repeated chances to prove worthy, but the food was cold and not fresh. If you want to give them a try, I suggest collecting.

The staff are great and hold your order so you can re order with ease. Friendly and efficient service. The food is always tasty, hot, and delivered quickly.

Absolutely brilliant! Hands down the best restaurant I've been to in that region. The staff were very welcoming and gave a great ordeal about delivering outstanding service; which they did. Food was immaculate and was not below par in any way, didn't have to wait long either and the toilets were very clean. I took a dump and it would normally take 3 months to clear the air of my particulate manure, however the air freshner did justice!
