The store is well laid out, displaying as much stock as possible. Prices are comparible to online competitors and it's always better to try before you buy. The staff are friendly Nd knowledgeable.

Dawson’s Music at anytime, anywhere in the UK is always the best place to go for Roland V Drums. Staff are always willing to help and answer questions.
Dawsons is my closest music store, so it's the easiest to get to, and I've always used it for strings, picks, etc, as well as guitars! I have had a guitar case fixed there and the man who did this was very pleasant, and extremely talented, and he did this free of charge so this was much appreciated. However, none of the staff seem to enjoy their job. When I ask to try out a guitar, it feels like it's a bit of an inconvenience for them. I get that you can have bad days, but I love guitars, I love trying them out and trying to decide which is next on the purchase list, but I have never felt welcome here, and it really puts me off buying! Buying an instrument should be a really memorable experience, no matter what your age, or the cost!! I might be wrong, but I'd want the staff to be at least pleased to see I'm enjoying myself! They have a great selection, but the staff really put me off! You're working in an industry where you're not going to make a huge sale off every person, and it often takes a few visits and a few tries of the same guitar to make a decision! But if you go out your way to make the customer feel welcome, and special, even if it takes them a few visits to make their mind up, even if it's months later, they're definitely going to think of your store when they decide to purchase! But sadly that doesn't happen here! Think I'll be making the switch to another online store, which really takes the fun out of it!!
Very helpful staff, Ryan was extremely helpful, a very pleasant young man, he was able to answer all of my questions he knew a lot about the products I was enquiring about. Ryan took his time to try and help me and was a pleasure to deal with, he treated me with respect and went out of his way to try and help me I look forward to shopping here again. Thank you Ryan I would also like to say thanks to David, he was very helpful, enjoyed chatting with him. He was interesting and knew a lot about different types of music and equipment. All the lads are fab- looking forward to returning to the store
Great staff with vast knowledge. The Manager was able to honour an online discount code which I was grateful for. The shop is huge and staff will let you test anything out and not hover around you, which I prefer. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to all. Thanks!
Amazing shop with lots of staff, who know what they’re talking about. Just bought my new guitar in their and was a nice swift and simple transaction. Played it for quite a while before buying and was no hassle. A great store for musicians!
Great range of instruments and equipment, staff fairly knowledgeable, although some could do better in the customer care skill. Gareth has also been there for years and puts the rest to shame. The shop is well laid out on two floors and in the city centre, all in all a great store.
Very friendly service and willing to go that extra mile. I only brought a basic midi controller which is perfect for me as a beginner. Very pleased with the product and the customer service was great. Spent a 40 minutes with me giving tips and advice with was far beyond what I would expect.
