First off I would of selected no stars but can't, these are the worst 'letting agents' I have ever dealt with. They are rude and will not listen, they have no time for tenants, only for the landlords. Very incompetent and unprofessional, the maintenance side is a complete joke, when and if when they do complete the work it will be carried out to substandard level. Forget getting your deposit back, you will be charged for cleaning even if the property is clean, they picked up on dust inside radiators!!??? Please avoid at all costs or be very careful and record every mark etc or they will charge you for damage that was already there.

First thing i would say is stay away unless you wanna go through alot of stress because they take forever to fix problems if at all... staff and management of the lettings team in Trowbridge are awful no understanding of customer service at all... even went as far as lieing about the way things were left after my tenancy ended. My thermostat was broken for over two months and i was told 'its not a priority and its summer months so you dont need it' far as im concerned im paying to live in a flat things should be in working order. Not to mention on arrival to rhe flat i was faced with 100 problems from day one.. with poor lighting to flat to fire alarms falling off the ceeling grease and dirt build up in the food cupboards and thats just to mention a few... after my tenancy ended i felt like i was speaking a different language to these people i finally rang the assistant manager as the manager is on holiday apparently.. and asked if i could have my landlords details to which she said id have to write in for that so i explained i will do that with immediate effect and if she could get back to me asap as she was sat in front if the computer, after some time i called back to chase the email and phone call i requested and she then said in a very sarcastic voice 'i got 21 days to reply to your email im busy' clearly trying to make my life harder because they know they are in the wrong and dont want me to expose them for what they are doing!
To top it off they expecting me to pay £150 quid for cleaning that should have been done before i moved in but the fact i done it to high standard and they still wanting to charge me is completely insulting.. i cant actually good to say about them.

Not friendly staff ,not helpful on phone.promises of phoning back,never happened. They have a problem with people who are on disability benefit. Or any benefit.
I have rented for over 25 years ,and never had this sort of service?

After 10 years of successful letting, as landlords and as sellers, our experience with both departments at Davies and Davies has been excellent. They have been efficient and friendly - a pleasure to deal with.
