This opticians is highly recommended. A very high standard professional service. Always goes that extra mile to ensure every examination is carried out that is needed. There is glaucoma in the family and Norma takes all the necessary investigations to detect any abnormalities, not just with me but also my children. Sarah is a brilliant receptionist and is always professional. Follow up appointments, reminders and any issues, Sarah will sort it. Thank you, feel very lucky to have this service in Llandysul.
Highly recommended - Excellent service in moving from single vision to varifocal for contact lenses and glasses. Norma and Sarah were committed to ensuring that the available suitable options in terms of contact lenses and glasses frames and lens type were fully explained so I could make informed choices. Aftercare appointments offered to suit to check fit and vision of trial multifocal lenses and glasses and a genuine interest in making sure that everything is ok with both the contact lenses and glasses.
**UPDATE I had my annual check up a few weeks ago. With new technology in the practice I was able to see a photograph of the back of my eyes, and discuss the health of my eyes in greater detail. I needed one new lens for my reading glasses as the eye had changed a little. This was quickly made and put in my existing glasses. Great service. *** Thank you to Sarah and Norma for a friendly and efficient service. I received a reminder by to make an appointment. I phone for the appointment and received an email confirmation. The day before it was due I received a text reminding about the appointment and time. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in to the pre-eye tests with Sarah and the main examination with Norma. I needed to have new lenses and Sarah helped me choose the new frames which suited me. Norma also checked they were right to me. The new glasses arrived very quickly and I returned to try them on and check that the fit was right and told to come back if there were any problems with them. Throughout the service was first rate.
Absolute game changer, first class service, access to the latest equipment, extensive collection of beautiful frames to select from. Staff are just wonderful and have the time to meet all their customers' needs. We are so lucky to have such a classy opticians here in Llandysul. My glasses are superb with the best lenses I have ever had. What is it they say nowadays 'it's time to invest in yourself? ' well on this occasion I agree wholeheartedly, so happy. Try them you won't be disappointed!
I cannot fault the service I have received from Norma and Sarah. They are thorough, professional and knowledgeable and have taken a lot of time and trouble over my eyesight and three pairs of new glasses. They have a good range of stylish frames and I was able to find some I am really happy with. Highly recommended.
What a lovely friendly place, and right on my doorstep. Norma and her staff were excellent in helping me with my first ever need for glasses. The service was relaxed, and very professional, you leave feeling pampered!! Why go anywhere else? Forgot to mention the fantastic wide range of glasses to choose from, I ended up buying 2 pairs but could easily have bought more!!
I have never had a more thorough eye test than the one I just had with Norma Davies. I will never get my eyesight tested anywhere else from now on and the service was simply excellent. Even in the midst of faultlessly exercised Covid restrictions choosing frames was relaxed and I was given as much time as I wanted tp try several pairs on. Sarah, who assists Norma, was a delight. Great choice of designer frames too.Fast delivery of my new specs topped off a perfect experience.
Having recently moved to the area I had my first eye test with Norma Davies about 2 weeks ago. The overall treatment I received from her and the optical assistant was first class. Very professional and extremely friendly. I was getting new glasses and both Norma and Sarah gave invaluable help in choosing new frames. Nothing was too much trouble. I went to the Carmarthen branch for a further test and received the same excellent treatment there. I picked up my new glasses this morning. Really pleased with them. Thanks for all your help.

Norma always provides a very thorough examination, and goes above and beyond to provide a first class service from start to finish. I am thrilled with my new varifocal glasses, and have received many compliments.
