Lovely old house converted into a restaurant. Family run very friendly. Good quality seasonal food, I had venison which was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Really great food. Came one Friday lunch time and didn't know Carlisle, but researched and this place looked the best. We weren't disappointed either. Food was great, and one of the tastiest pieces of beef I've had in a long while (and I've eaten a ton!). Will definitely be back. (Strange 80s decor though 😂)

We had lunch at David's in Carlisle. The food was excellent and the service fabulous. A thoroughly pleasant experience, and one i shall be repeating soon.

Wonderful food....attentive friendly staff..relaxing surroundings. Best place to enjoy fine dining in Cumbria.

Great fresh cooked food (unfortunately such a rare thing in most restaurants). Mid week menu is excellent value.
