I'm a complete novice when it comes to bikes, but Dave and Jim came highly recommended by a friend. I visited their very conveniently situated shop and got great friendly advice and was not made the novice I am. I'm now the proud owner of bike Dave recommended and built for me within 3 weeks. I'm sure they could have sold me more expensive 'kit' but they didn't they sold me what I needed. It's a pleasure to visit the shop, nothing is too much trouble and the banter is great!

Superb service from Jim and Dave. You made what has always been a near impossible task at the bigger bike shops or even on line, so simple. Difficult or rare bike bits were not even a small issue. The whole experience was made easy by Dave Hinde. A quick phone call and parts arrived in the post 3 days later! This is a phone number to hang on to cycling people. No messing.

Absolutely very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for you. Does as promised and when promised. I was ordering outside the webshop as I live abroad and Jim was very helpful in getting the saddle out to me. Happy to have dealt with Jim!

Fantastic service and very well priced. Customer service is second to none, couldn’t have gone out of their way to help anymore than they did. Very happy customer and will certainly be using again! Glad to have found a dependable local bike shop.

I bought my first road bike from Dave Hinde 10 years ago and have just been back there to get it resprayed for a second lease of life. In that time I have bought two custom builds and a TT frame. Over the years both Dave and Jim have been very generous with advice on all things from wheels to frames and just 'how to do stuff'. I have always been delighted with the service and for a small outfit, they are very competitively priced. Plus, I am delighted to put my money into the local economy rather than a big, no-face Interweb monolith. I can highly recommend them.
