Absolutely brilliant service had to pop in on an emergency repair today and after a bit of a chat with Johnathan and deciding when to get the repair done he instead pushed work aside and made it priority instead and told me to come back in an hour cheap price for the repair got me back on the road and helped me out of a massive pinch so cheers for that can't thank you enough mate... More shops out there like this one please some could do with taking a leaf out of this shops book

Bought a second hand hybrid bike, staff were absolutely amazing, bent over backwards to help me. Spent plenty of time explaining things to me as I'm new to bikes. Had a small issue with the bike and they repaired it instantly with zero fuss there and then. Couldn't recommend them more. 11/10

Great service. Update on Darkes cycles as at 23rd November 2020. Peter and his team have gone out of their way to be helpful to myself and my friends with repairs to my bike. This is a great shop providing friendly, reliable service at a low price. Deserves to be well supported.
Been a couple of times now, and the team at Darke Cycles has always been nice, polite, and super-knowledgeable. They've fixed my bikes quickly and without fuss, and they even told me when one bike was beyond repair and probably needed replacing -- and didn't charge me for their time to do so. Work fast, great value, and always my first choice for bicycle repairs.
I ordered a bicycle Parkside 3 speed for my wife on a Monday. It was ordered in, built and delivered by the Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise to experience such a quick and smooth service. The attention paid to customer service on delivery was also appreciated, particularly with it being my wife's first bike. Peter adjusted it to fit with her height. She has been out cycling regularly since it was received and is very happy. Thank you, Darke Cycles.
Had an issue with gears slipping, lads tried to resolve but it was a manufacturer issue that couldn't be fixed. They sorted me with a new cassette in less than an hour and bikes never felt better. 1000% reccomend!
Don't buy the pit bike. It broke in 2 weeks. I took it back to have it done. I paid £260, but after 1 week it wouldn't start again. A waste of money. If you want a motorcycle, then Funbikes!
