Great book shop with an excellent selection. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time here but also to find some hidden gems. Friendly staff and decent prices. A small selection of kids books downstairs too.
The best book store I’ve ever been to. There are so many good reads. Knowledge is power 10/10 recommended- go support them:
Very helpful and kind staff, a lot of interesting books not necessarily religious.
Best Islamic bookshop in London. Friendly staff and very broad range of books in terms of topics as well as authors/publishers.
amazing Islamic bookshop with friendly staff + a wide range of high quality books : they have quite a few recently published books- I'd recommend getting them from here rather than Amazon if you're based in London
Beautiful shop. Spent a long time there today. Superb collection. Sister's were very helpful. May Allah's blessings continue to fall upon your beautiful store for many more years to come.
Twice at this bookstore, and each visit a success—I discovered not only the books I sought but also an extensive collection covering diverse topics.
I could live here. This is an amazing store with such a wide selection of books. If you're interested in Islamic literature this is the place to go. The selection of books also covers literature not directly about Islam but related to it, which again adds depth. The top floor is mainly English books and the basement is a mix of books in English and Arabic, amongst other things.
I visited this shop on Tuesday with a list of books to buy. I managed to obtain most of them. I bought a prayer mat for £7 as well. The lady was very nice and asked me when I converted to Islam. When I replied that I hadn't yet, she told me that they do conversion ceremonies downstairs with the imam, with the certificate provided for free as well. That's great news for potential converts/reverts, as they don't have to wait for the Mosques to fully reopen in order to do the ceremony. I'll definitely visit them again.
We found three amazing books. We spent over an hour in the shop and did not feel uncomfortable as the staff were friendly. Good central location with rare finds. We were also recommended a halal Egyptian restaurant nearby by the shop keeper and suffice to say it was a good recommendation.
