Enjoyed working here initially, then due to frequent changes in management, high level of staff turnover that continues to this day. Never felt listened to a few supervisions and a meeting with HR where all my concerns were written down, but never to be heard of since. Management manage via email from their office, never felt that they really listened when I go with a problem or concern. Cygnet, as a company, don't seem to place any importance on their staffs wellbeing that's just the feeling I got Including myself, new members of staff given shadow shifts then left to it, usually paired with agency staff who know even less, in a violent environment both physical and verbal. What the website should mention, and it certainly should be mentioned in interviews but was not in my case is just how violent etc the place can be,and that staff can get injured,despite the defensive training given. If that was put to me,I never would have accepted the role. I wanted to make a difference for the service users, but left due to my mental and physical health. Only wish I left sooner than I did. UPDATE- regarding your reply about contacting you to discuss things the generic,copy and paste reply you've given others,word for word I'll decline, because basically as I stated, I mentioned things numerous times before,when I worked there,and wasn't listened to. THAT is what needs addressing, NOT to discuss things after an employer has left. Bit too little,too late isn't it?
Workd ther for 19 years but the last couple of years where not good got dismissed over a trivial thing used as a skape goat but glad to be out of ther staff turn over is very high
Wonderful Experience and Good Atmosphere. Supportive and Helpful Staffs.
I worked there and managment were not great did not look after the staff just kept putting them in the same location
