Story

Maureen Nobes established Dance of Hitchin in 1983, with the infamous Bonnie Langford performing the opening ceremony!

Stocking famous Dancewear brands such as Katz, Bloch,Freed of London, Capezio and Papillion, Maureen and Zara are here to help with your dancewear needs from leotards, leggings, tights to pointe shoe fitting, tap, jazz, and ballroom shoes.

Fancy dress accessories range from chest wigs, fake boobs(!), moustaches to hairspray, snazaroo makeup and glitter with hundreds of other weird,wonderful but necessary items for your fancy dress needs. From cowboy hats to instant disguises, Blues brothers kits, specs, masks, wigs and swords we hope to fulfil your requirements. There is also the option to specially order items in, subject to time and availabilty.

The hires section is run by Pam and Debs who are only too happy to help guide you through over 800 costumes including 50s,60s and 70s, Pirates, animals, superheros and period. Please feel free to ring 01462 435988
