Faye was absolutely incredible with me. She knew how to achieve the closest to my reference and was so good with setting expectations on what might differ due to my current hair. Faye made me so comfortable the whole time, keeping conversation going and just all around great service. The hair wash was so relaxing as well. I walked out of the salon feeling so confident and will absolutely be back to see Faye again!
My fave salon! Won’t let anyone else colour my hair besides Richard! I travel all the way from London just for a hair day because he’s the only person i find isn’t afraid to push my hair to what i want and still leave it strong and healthy! Faye did a great job with my cut and styling and despite my conversation with her my styling has lasted all night!
Had an appointment with Emily! She was absolutely amazing! Made me feel so comfortable and happy! I was so pleased with the results too! Can’t wait to see her again!

Every person that I spoke to, was given coffee by, greeted, had a hair wash & phenomenal head massage from and Lily the creative mastermind behind my new hair was so incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my many hours in the salon feel like an incredibly special treat. If you’re looking for the best hair salon in Birmingham, then Hazel and Haydn is definitely it! The salon is beautiful, super relaxed and all the team are so friendly. Bianca’s coffees are delicious and the banoffee hot chocolate is my favourite treat. Richard has been cutting my hair for the past 4 years and is incredible! He puts everyone at ease with his friendly manner and is really knowledge, always happy to make recommendations. I always leave happy and with gorgeous hair, thank you Richard!
Before coming here I was really stuck in a rut with my hair, but Emily's confidence and creativity combined with with her talent resulted in me having a radical change - which now feels how my hair was always meant to look like. I had the most delightful hair appointment today with a stylist that brought the WOW !!!!! I have really awful grey regrowth. Today I met Emily and she made me feel at ease, I felt I could trust her judgement with my hair. She didn’t disappoint. I left Hazel and Haydn feeling fabulous. Thank you Emily. I want to add this salon has a lovely vibe. Appointments are timeous. Prices are good. Client care is commendable.
Oh my giddy aunt! What an amazing experience. My hair is a tricky beast to tame: thick, kinda curly, kinda straight… just annoying, really. Lily listened to my woes, looked at my inspo photos, and went to work. The beast has been tamed, and it was seriously the best haircut I have had in my 50+ years on this planet. Just a shame I live on the other side of the world, otherwise I’d be coming here for all my haircuts in the future. Thanks Lily!
