The toilets are in a terrible condition and there is hardly anyone there to serve you as a customer. I had to wait ages for a book to collect. The staff seem to spend ages returning the books first rather than serving the customer first to save their time. I regularly go to the library and get books.
Probably the worst library I’ve been to. The toilets are filthy. It smells extremely bad and their is years of mold accumulating on the vents. You can check them out in the photos provided. There’s no wonder there that the toilets smell awful. To add to this, the library is not quiet at all. They constantly have entertainers coming in singing with the children and the isolated quiet cubicles they’ve got… you have to pay to use them…? Even when they’re empty, they don’t allow you to use it. I most definitely wouldn’t recommend this library to anyone !
Dagenham Library is a quiet and conducive place to read and research. It has resourceful materials and staff to keep you going. It equally got space for kids. It is strategically located in Dagenham Heathway just few metres away from Heathway Underground Station and many bus stops around just to ease your movement. It equally has job centre and other welfare office. Free Wi-Fi to keep you going...

Depending on the day of the week you go on... And who happens to be on duty, to the type of service you get! Like most places these days.nToday I needed a bit of help getting on to Lbbd my account, as I wasn't having much luck on my pc. I got the help needed by an helpful I.T. Champion, whose name I forgot to ask, thank you appreciated.nThe Children's Library is excellent!nWith a New created outside space for activities currently being refurbished.
