A truly horrible experience as a tenant and purchaser. This was the opposite of what I expected from an estate agents. I would have hoped to have received from an established company a lot better service. Certainly, the same level of customer service as a paying sales client. When I raised my concerns i was told in no uncertain terms that I wasn’t a client (a purchaser) so would not be afforded the same service by the employee Virginia as the paying client. Extremely poor communication, even when escalated to the branch manager, who simply defended his staff and made no efforts to resolve a prolonged difficult purchase. The company were however willing to discuss my purchase with a 3rd party (my landlord) against all Data Protection regulations. Problem solving and sales progression was non- existent and I had to make suggestions and check progress to ensure that the basics were done. The company didn’t provide the basic care or attention despite this purchase requiring some prioritisation and escalation. Even upon completion the staff continued to be unhelpful and rude. Finally, I hope I never have to deal with the company again.

Very poor communication. Made offer at asking price yet Dacres didn't keep vendors informed and I had to intervene personally to stop others viewing and buying. My purchase has been delayed since end of October because new build ( being sold by Dacres ) is not fit for signing off. Have yet to get a completion date.. Not a word from Dacres since mid December! Am only glad they are not dealing with my sale!

From start to finish the service provided by the team at Dacres has been brilliant. They made what can be a difficult process smooth and as stress free as possible. All the staff we encountered in our local office - Ilkley. Were incredibly friendly seemed very experienced and we felt had great personal knoweldge of the area and the local market.

New build team knew less information than us. Got told that a contract was just a piece of paper and didn't mean a thing.
