Nice to see an Italian restaurant in London that offers Halal options. Great selection of Pizzas and pasta. The pizza look authentic Italian. Good size servings and the food is served piping hot. Our waiter was friendly and attentive aswell as engaging. Nice interior decor with more tables in the basement. This place is popular so it does get busy. The tirimusu is the ideal dessert to top your meal
Great Italian place in London! Though we only ordered two orders, they both tasted amazing but I've been before and they never disappoint I love the vibes and the interior of the restaurant. All the staff were professional, our waiter Alex was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!
My boyfriend and I ate here on Friday having wandered most of London in the heat and despite being super busy they made space for us outside. We weren’t immensely hungry but as we were off to the ballet needed something to eat and drink. We were not disappointed. The pizzas were amazing, just the right size and full of flavour. The staff were clearly very busy but cheerful and very helpful. In particular a very friendly Romanian waiter who was great with his service and manner. We would recommend them Highly.
this place is amazing! the staff are friendly the food is great. i love the decor and the fact that this was princess diana’s favourite restaurant makes it even more special, i didn’t find this out until after i got there. i would definitely eat here again.
One of the best pizza I've ever tasted. My boyfriend's uncle and parents are raving about how tasty their food was. Also, they don't skimp on the aperol spritz. Servers are very attentive. Only downside is music is a bit too loud. We came when the weather was really good. I only wished we had a table on the ground floor and not the basement so we could have enjoyed the weather longer.
It is very evident why this was Princess Diana’s favourite meal spot. The notion of Italian comfort food is well encapsulated in every dish of this establishment! Explore the menu, everything is finger-licking good!
I have been here second time and I can totally recommend the place. Food is not overpriced and great quality and taste. Staff is amazing, will always welcome you warmly and makes you feel Kyle you are at home.
This place has always been one of my favourite Italian restaurants in London. They do an amazing but also homey seafood pasta. I recommend to everyone! Also the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had.
If you like pizza baked in a pan this is the right place for you. If you ever tried a real Italian pizza you may search for another place. The garlic bread was quite okay though, but wouldn’t order the pizza again… not worth the money. The staff was kind and working as fast as they could.
My favourite Italian restaurant ever! Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. No wonder Princess Diana loved this place. This is my 10th visit and I don’t live nearby and Di Mario’s has never disappointed so far. We visited last night group of 5 on a Wednesday night and had booked a table the previous week. The restaurant was busy and guests without a booking weren’t getting a table. There is seating upstairs on the street level and even more seating downstairs including cozy booths. In the evenings and winter I prefer down downstairs but at lunchtime street level is lighter and cooler. I’ve included in my photos seating upstairs/downstairs, food and the menus. To start we had the garlic bread which is always light and fresh our guests had the gluten-free version which they liked but personally I much prefer the normal one. Between us for mains we had the Seafood Pasta so many people order this, and the Pacceri Pomodoro. 2 of the party had gluten-free pasta and tasting that I can confirm it was good. The pasta is always perfectly cooked and no-where can make a more tasty Pomodoro sauce than Di Mario’s. Portions are perfect and whilst it may cost slightly more than a standard Italian it is so worth it for the quality of the dishes. You feel you are in a classy but trendy restaurant. We didn’t have desserts this time but have thoroughly enjoy their home-made sorbets and ice-creams – was just a tad disappointed that there was no chocolate sorbet/ice-cream on the menu. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It’s packed and noisy but not too noisy that you can’t hear each other.
