This place is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in London. Unlike other Italian restaurants that are more fast food and cheap, this place truly lives up to Italian cuisine. The pizza was extremely well made and the lasagna was hot and full of cheese and meat. The service was quick as when I ordered Tiramisu it came almost instantly. The atmosphere is almost perfect but could be improved as there were one or two un-kid friendly photos. But other than that… 100% recommended to others! Kid-friendliness: There was a few inappropriate photos but I think that it’s perfectly fine for a child to go here.
We been here last night and was all spectacular. The food is really Italian. Gorgeous starters such as Bruschetta and Focaccia. Highly recommended the melanzane parmigiana and beef lasagna. The chef and staff are really amazing and super friendly. Don’t forget to get the delicious tiramisu. Thank you. We will come back againFood: 5/5
The cooking was just so great, the pizzas were delicious and the pasta even more. The waiter was very nice, friendly and we didn’t wait long to get our food. The decor was very cozy and it was really quiet, people talking calmly. Great service and restaurant !! Thank you, next time in London, I’ll come back!Food: 4/5
We found the pizzas rather pedestrian, with the dough/pizza base more akin to a supermarket pizza than a restaurant. However, the pastas that other people ordered looked comparatively delicious, which induced some jealousy from us, and the burrata we ordered for a starter was faultless. And, full disclosure, we did eat every last crumb. The service made us feel like a walking dollar sign, which was perhaps forgivable as it was a busy Friday night. Also forgivably, not a single extra chair could be crammed into the restaurant, which might deter the long-legged or agoraphobic. However, the decor of the place is very homely and tastefully eccentric.
Excellent food with cozy atmosphere in Little Venice, an imaginative family Italian restaurant with very good wine choices. The food is typical Italian fare, with pasta crabonara, pizzas, risottos etc but the quality is excellent, it felt just like you were in Italy! Check out their tuna steak and other main dishes.Food: 5/5
Nice cosy restaurant serving simple, comfort food. Had Lasagna and Tiramisunon alcoholic and enjoyed it. And Lamb meatballs. Child friendly and has bring your own wine policy. Portion for the lasagna could be improved but no complaints about taste.
Homie and cozy little Italian restaurant. Daniela, the owner is a lovely lady. Very welcoming. She prepares some of the food and food ingredients herself. Da Daniela is a family run business. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food. The menu is simple with many traditional kinds of pasta dishes and pizzas. The desserts are also prepared daily by Daniela. Book in advance if you can as the place is small. Highly recommended if you’re looking for some authentic Italian food.
Pizzas are delicious. Pasta dishes good. It's a BYOD place so you have the bonus of marrying your food with whichever wine you like. Service can be a bit rude maybe its a cultural thing? Who knows!. Prices very reasonable for the location. Gets very packed when it's busy, but it's a small restaurant. Nice local restaurant for every now and then. Definitely it can get better
It was my first visit to Da Daniela and I hope to be back soon. Excellent service and food and had the atmosphere of being in Italy!! The food is delicious, authentic and very good value. I can recommend the fried fish starter and focaccia, and the lasagna was really delicious. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Also a nice touch that they allow you bring your own wine, however I had a glass of their pinot grigio which was very good.
We went there for lunch after the regent's canal cruise on a Sunday. At first we were surprised to see the place almost empty, but we didn't regret this choice: the food was terrific. In addition, I was most surprised when the kids ordered apple juice - after a while one of the employees came back with a bag full of apples and made a fresh juice.
