Handy car park to know about for the Lawrence Batley... The signs that lead to the multistory for theater parking are useless because it got knocked down but this car park is already on the ground so we parked in it. Would use again.
Parking fees ought to be on entry. I.e. visible from roadside, outside. As car reg is scanned in on entry and presumably a fee may be chargeable??? So what if a person wants to know charges before getting into any sort of contract? Road layout does not suit parking up to go on foot into the car park to find out what the fee for entry? Is or fee for actually staying? For how long? Unclear. Car park itself is okay. Prices seem reasonable.
My dad always parks here cheap for a couple of hours can pay by card or cash need to put in registration number of car and easy access to Wilkinson and town centre
Parked here 2 hours late on Sat night, dark & pouring rain. Wrongly thought it was council carpark and could use my blue badge. £86 fine. Disabled people: beware of Horizon parking bandits.
Small car park in the centre of Huddersfield. There is number plate recognition so no need to get a ticket. When you return to the car park you put your registration number in the machine & it tells you how much to pay & then you just drive out. The machine takes cash & card.
Warning to the public using this carpark It's designed to try and trick you into thinking you don't need to pay anything then send you a big fine when you drive out Small signs Virtually too hard to see on purpose informing people you pay on the way out so be warned
Pay on leaving is fine if you manage to see a sign or machine! Otherwise it’s a racket! £50/£80 fine, paid by cheque or postal order. No cards or bank transfer: 2022!!!!
If you can get a spot you are lucky, no parking in huddersfield so I don't blame everyone trying to get a spot
Small spaces. You don't pay for parking until you're leaving. You have to tell the machine how long you've been there after putting your reg number in. Seems a bit odd, unless I did something wrong.
Not first choice for car parking in town. Very busy, not well laid out and not the most convenient location re location to town centre. Wouldn't park hear again by choice.
