New parking ticket price as the local authority has increased prices.nnThis contains the top levels 4 and 5 for a long stay as it is cheaper and the rest which are level 1,2 and 3 for a short stay.
Charge of 56p on top of the prices if you use RINGGO app instead of paying cash in the machine. These charges are not highlighted on either the App or any signage on the ticket machine.nSpaces very small too, Kingsgate better prices now after council has raised prices and is a much better car park.
Awesome car park, top three levels cheap day parking. Steps smell of piss and weed, but ur only parking not sleeping or buying weed haha
This is run by the local council and parking is paid on the many parking meters installed on all levels. These accept cash but do not give any change so you need to have the correct amount. Meters also accept debit cards or pay via the Ring go app which allows you to top up your fee if you intend to stay longer than anticipated without returning to the car park. You will need the Ring go app uploaded on your phone. The council rates are about 80p per hour which is cheaper than the private car parks.
The spaces are in threes, bordered by pillars on each side. This results in everyone parking in the middle space and moving up the levels until they find one that doesnt have a pillar to navigate. Fortunately the car park is rarely full. NOTE: the Sunday charge of £1 for 4 hours FROM midday does only cost £1...n...there is no charge for time if you arrive BEFORE midday on a Sunday.
