I lost a screw of my Shimano 8050, Luke in less than 24 hours had the spare ready in his store. Spectacular service! I will go back one more time without a doubt.
Took my bicycle in for some servicing and check up not too long ago. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. A shop colleague in particular, Jarred, provided me some very helpful tips with regards to my bike that will make caring for it a breeze. Buying is great both in store and online, but I would definitely recommend going face to face due to the amazing customer service Jarred and his colleagues provide.
A brilliant bike shop with approachable, knowledgeable and helpful staff: I'd initially used other bike shops and was less sure of Cycle Republic, but have now bought my two bikes from here and would buy again as the level of service pre and post sale has been superb, and left me feeling relaxed and confident in what I am buying. Any nervous bike-owner syndrome or genuine issues with the bike, they are really generous with their time in helping and advising you, despite it clearly being a busy shop. Jobs are always done when they say they will be and communication is good. Highly recommended.
I cannot fault this shop. They are honest, reliable and cheap. They have fitted me in for a small repair immediately once even when they were busy, as I was cycling home. They do additional things when doing repairs, such as pumping up my tyres or adjusting my brakes once for free. I once had a few issues with my hub gears which just kept slipping, but I went in a few times and they weren't phased by me coming in numerous times after the 6 week service, they just fixed it again. It eventually settled down. They are honest with their advice and recommendations. I never feel like I am being ripped off. I wouldn't go elsewhere.
I’m very impressed with cycle republic in Manchester Piccadilly. I always say the way to judge a business is by how the react when something goes wrong. Now I normally wouldn’t have complained, because the issues I experienced were both in-part my fault. The first was that I had ordered my bike before my cycle scheme vouchers were ready, and when they called to say they were going to build it and I explained that, they said I could easily re-order later and it was best to cancel this order. They didn’t say that the price I'd ordered at was a sale price and it might go back up in price. But to be fair I maybe could have guessed this was a possibility. The second was that when I did buy the bike later at a more expensive price, I couldn’t remember what size frame Id had bought from them for my previous bike that was stolen a few weeks earlier. They were rushed, so didn’t check despite me asking them to, and so they ended up selling me a bike that turned out to be too small smaller than the stolen bike I'd bought from them 6 weeks earlier. So when I went back I wasn’t that happy but wasn’t holding out loads of hope because on both fronts it wasn’t entirely Cycle Republics fault - I could have avoided both these things if I had been more organised. However I did decide to pop in and complain as I thought it was only fair to voice my issues constructively. Mark from Piccadilly was absolutely brilliant. Not only did he honour the original price, but he also exchanged the bike for a larger one of the correct size that they built especially within a couple of hours. They simply couldn’t have done more to put me back to my ideal situation, and in doing so, have joined a small group of businesses that I hold in very high regards. Well-done Cycle Republic!
Had a few problems with my first bike but spoke to the store manager Luke and i cant reccomend him enough. Absolutely in love with my new bike. Rides like a dream. Fantastic manager went well and truly out of his way for me. Put my faith back into the store
Amazing staff and good value service. Had a problem with my bike but I wanted to be able to fix it on my own later so asked the staff for directions and they were really helpful even though they had no obligation to help. I don't know how this works for them but I bought some new tires and apparently this entitles me to free labour no installation fees. Ultimately one of the best bike shops I have ever been to.
Another swift and friendly repair job from the workshop crew. Went into the store last Friday to order hard-to-find replacement headset bearings for my cylcrocross bike. Got a call the next day to say the parts had arrived. Brought the bike in on Monday morning; work all done and ready to go by lunchtime. Staff are always knowledgeable and interested, and willing to look for the best prices for you. Thanks
I have been using Cycle Republic for the last 3 years, as my office is situated just round the corner. I have a relatively high end, but old bike, so it needs quite alot of maintenance. The staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable. They have also gone out of their way to get the bike back to me on time, or to make sure I have the best deal. You can take your bike to a more specialist shop and get services for 3 times the price, but I see no need when you have these in the city centre.
