In an effort to avoid Amazon as much as possible, we try to come here for all of our tech. Their collection service is pretty good, although you feel somewhat antisocial for opening your boot when they approach. They are however respectable with your car and will close the boot afterwards. Whilst they do have good customer service, and are always on hand to help you, sometimes we go in and are asked 2-3 times if we need any help by different employees. Gets a bit too much sometimes. Their stock definitely needs improving. It'd be nice to walk in there and get what we want, but more often than not empty shelves are on display. Plenty of free parking right outside which is good.
Steve and Luke were both extremely helpful and patient in sorting out an ongoing issue with Carphone Warehouse phone insurance for me. The staff are friendly and helpful in general.
I normally don't write reviews but in this case I feel that the person who 1st served me Steve is a great ambassador for Currys PC world, I came into the branch with an issue with my son Broadband lagging via WiFi even though we have 300mb , I explained that I had a WiFi extender and it kept dropping out , Steve explained why it was dropped out and recommended an alternative option to solve this issue we had ,I brought what Was recommended and now my son is really happy that the broad is not dropping out and can play on his Xbox with our any issues thanyou
I walked in and immediately thought I had come to the wrong place to buy a laptop. In no time, David clearly saw the confused look on my face and asked if he could help. Well he did. He gave me an hour of his time explaining which laptop would suit my needs within my price range. He was so knowledgeable and was happy to demonstrate how to use certain elements of my final choice that I would find very useful. I walked away better for the experience and look forward to picking up my new laptop in a few days. Thank you David!
David was amazingly informative, helpful and happy to help with a few items I was wanting to purchase. He made sure my items were compatible to my devices and that it was the best item for my money. You have a great member of staff in David. Thankyou!
Not even a 1 star, the guy in store luke was great and helpful but was promised and paid extra for a delivery today, not arrived even though I had a text, customer services tell me have to go back to store for a refund !!!
Probably the worst delivery service possible. So I ordered a fridge freezer in shop and was promised that they would be able to deliver it to a flat. Told them how many sets of small stairs it was and they said that was fine and they could do that. So delivery day comes and the 3 men decided that they wont take it up the stairs and say they will put it on the ground floor for me to take up… this is after i have explained that i am on my own with my two year old child. These 3!!! Men!!! Are very insistent on me taking it up on my own so im expected to just hope that my child is safe left on her own while i supposedly get this fridge freezer up the stairs while they still get the delivery charge. Absolute joke of a service and there is now no amount of money you could pay me to order or buy anything from currys again. These cowboys in and out of the shop have egos the size of planets but have have the compassion and comprehension skills of a spoon. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

In and out within 30 mins with everything for a new house sorted, Sean was brilliant and super patient with us. He was clear and personable too - defo a credit to the store.
Charged £20 for delivery but drivers refused to carry upstairs even though we clearly told Luke the layout. Luke offered interest free credit agreement for 12 months. Upon later reading ,it was standard h.p. with appalling 24.9% interest rate. Not to be trusted!
