Best tech shop you can get. Bought a TV last week and the price was great. Staff are excellent they are very friendly and knowledgeable. Was helped by Nelson. Nelson was a great help. Much better than Argos.
Saw washing machine I wanted on display could not order it Why? We don't have it! can I order it ...no! Any idea when will be in ? No! In any other store? Bangor!! What was the point of displaying it if not available!!!!! I would just like to SEE what I am buying!
Saw product range in store, and then ordered on line. Delivered ok, but no communication from Currys, no receipt, no invoice, nothing. Phone 3 x times, 20 mins + each time, still no invoice or proof of CV purchase. Had to resort to cutting off label on box, and manufacturer accepted this. Absolute nightmare. Won't be rushing back to do business.
Bought present for niece. Helpful pleasant member of staff. Product was in stock, asked about device care agreement and about in-store broadband deal.
Probably store deserves higher rating but experienced the most un helpful assistant who's hands appeared to be glued in his pockets would certainly put off shoping there
Had a bit of a Pretty Woman experience...about 6 sales staff all huddled in the tv section..wouldnt come near me...being honest i wasnt dressed great.....one of them broke out to help a teenager by a 32" tv....i wasnt impressed...i continued to walk around all the tv's and still no one came near me......so got fed up, went home and orderred a 65" oled samsung and 50" jvc online...they arrived 2 days later :- The old dont judge a book by its cover story. Wonder how often that happens. Currys still got the business so 3 stars..
Bought q Samsung Fridge Freezer...... the last one they had and I was given a very good discount. Getting a discount wasn't the thing that made it memorable best the experience we had with the Sales Person who's first name is Cole. He was a joy both to talk to and listen to. He was very pleasant, knowledgable and courteous. He listened carefully to our Concerns and reassured us in each and every step. All in all a Very pleasant experience. The only small annoyance was that the fridge freezer would take a week for it to be delivered. We'll just have to put up with sour milk for another while.
Very good! Martin was very informative in relation to my needs and explained the technical aspects of several pieces of equipment that would suit my requirements. There was no pressure and I explained I was a total dinosaur and would run the information past the younger members of the family, however I am convinced Martin was right and will hopefully be back if offer still available. In hindsight I believe Martin 'sold me a pup'.. I presented him with a CD which I wished to install in relation to a Family Tree. On examining same he suggested an upgrade and at an increased price which would be compatible and on which I could load the CD. Imagine my surprise when on seeking advise from a friend on installing the CD there was no access or facility onto which I could load it. Grrr..
Located in Rushmere its easy to access but since covid there have been restrictions on the items available. I've still been able to get another make for the items I've wanted though, to be fair.
Went into get a new phone and was told it’s shut after standing waiting on no-one coming over. Shop doesn’t shut for another 20 minutes when I’m writing this review. This is why as all 5 are standing in middle of floor chatting. Girl wearing mobile expert badge is the one saying shut.
