Despite having 15 staff on we were basically ignored. They all just seem to wander about with a clip board and don't make eye contact with the customers. No smiles or hello's from any of them. I dont expect to go in a shop and have to search for an assistant, that deals with my needs.Disgrace of a shop.
While browsing an employee asked if he could be of assistance, I told him what I wanted and he said there was none in stock but he could order on his iPad. It arrived at my home two days later,nExcellent service..
I bought an oven. When I arrived at home and I unpacked it was broken. I go back, I took another one, they gave it to me unboxed and without a special cable. Now I have to buy that cable ,myself and is quite expensive, 15£. The worst store and the staff leaves much to be desired....very disappointed
Customer service is absolutely appalling. You can try for ages to get served. Most of them are either standing about chatting to each other or outside the front door smoking. We were standing at the till trying to buy something. Staff were busy at the help desk so waited but the 2 of them just walked off chatting. Left our items at the till and walked out. Should there not be someone always at the tills anyway? Perth Currys is much better.
Bought a TV from here. Returned it within a few days as it was faulty. After they inspected it, I was offered a replacement which I was more than willing to accept. This TV also had the same fault so was also returned. I wanted to buy another at a higher price of £100 but asked for a reduction given that I had two extra trips of over 70 miles in total and over four hours of my own time because of their faulty TV's. I was met with a somewhat quizzical look from the manager and told that he wouldn't reduce the price at all, not even by a penny! I subsequently went to Argos and bought the same TV. I'll not be going to currys again for anything in future.
