Returned with a broken item 6 weeks after Christmas and the staff were extra helpful and understanding.nShe wasn't sure how to go about the exchange, so made some phone calls and everything was sorted in 30mins. Extremely pleased with her level of care.
Dont usually post reviews but I feel this needed one, horrible experience with a staff member today when I quiered a price. So intimidating and aggressive in front of my child so disgraceful putting in a formal complaint. Should not be allowed to intimidate people like that in front of their kids will never set foot back in there. Be wary the prices under my items were not what they were at the till then totally made me feel like a liar lining them up where they should have been in the first place. The staff member I dealt with was just awful.
Drove 18 miles from Arbroath to Dundee to buy Nintendo switch Steering wheel two pack for £5.99 on Friday. Checked them on Friday night and the red one wasn’t working couldn’t steer and no thumbs in package should come with two rubber thumbs included which were missing from the box. Drove back today Sunday two days later to get an exchange where the staff members checked the product and got an exchange. I’ be asked the Smyths staff member if could check the product before exchange and to open the box to see if everything in the box where she added that cannot check the product as the their console is on low battery or discharged but she checked if everything is in the box. Asked who’s paying for my double trip and she didn’t said anything and when I’ve asked her if the new ones are not gonna work or if any issue , she said that the product will be checked and if not happy a refund will be made. So what do you think…!?Came home to see that now the blue one is not working….such a shame and disgusting…now I have to drive back again to get what…?? So how much will cost me a £5.99 steering wheel ? Already drove twice and another round trip will be necessary where will take to over £25-30 total.
Just had the best customer experience. With baby on the way, me and my husband were just out our depth when choosing a pram and car seat i wish I got the staff members name but all I can remember is she was the baby specialist. We told her what we were looking for which was a 3 in 1 travel system with no brake bar that is light and as compact as possible for the pram, and a 360 car seat. We weren't expecting to buy that day but were so impressed that we went for what she demonstrated and she felt we were looking for. Im just so happy that she turned something that we were finding quite stressful into something so easy and simple. Amazing customer skills that was very much appreciated
