Loads of products in wrong places with wrong prices, out of reach products, staff pretty miserable attitude, trolleys don't have chain to recieve £1 back from trolley when no more trolleys in bay, till area is messy and products all over floor, seem to be a pretty poorly run store tbh shame could be a brilliant experience.
Great choice of toys but it can be expensive but do have good deals o.
Great toy shop, aisles are filled floor to ceiling with everything imaginable. Reasonably priced too.
First time shopping with Smyths Toys Superstores this xmas and it will be my last. I couldn't pick up my daughters xmas gift i ordered on the 14th because i had no photo I.D. and im still waiting on the money to be returned to my account. Its only being returned to my account because i contacted them. Customer service is beyond terrble. Just automated response after automated response.
Just had the best customer experience. With baby on the way, me and my husband were just out our depth when choosing a pram and car seat i wish I got the staff members name but all I can remember is she was the baby specialist. We told her what we were looking for which was a 3 in 1 travel system with no brake bar that is light and as compact as possible for the pram, and a 360 car seat. We weren't expecting to buy that day but were so impressed that we went for what she demonstrated and she felt we were looking for. Im just so happy that she turned something that we were finding quite stressful into something so easy and simple. Amazing customer skills that was very much appreciated

I purchased a Nerf Target toy in behalf of my friend who lives outside Arbroath and she was delighted with her grandsons present as she wasn't in a position to travel to Dundee herself. The cashier was really nice and very helpful which was lovely
Staff always friendly and nice , the only things I would like the Smyths Toy shop Dundee, to stop doing is leaving they big yellow ladders in the isle, the isles are small and my child who never looks were she is going could quite easily have a nasty bump. And also a better selection of lego same old for ages now not enough creater or "adult builds" available.
30 Day Return Policy on Electrical items. VERY disappointed with this. If you're buying electrical goods then it's important you know you can use the returns policy at a store. Thought this would be a standard, however not. Blank refused to accept a return of a games controller within warranty. These types of items do go wrong, so would strongly recommend not buying consoles or similar items from Smyths.
Great to see a good toy shop in Dundee. Service was great with offers to help if needed. The only thing that's a bit off putting was the areas round the store car park is full of weeds with no sign of landscaping getting done.
