I’m really disappointed. I used to love Curry Express. They have decent website which makes ordering and paying easy. Service is polite and professional and the food was reliable. However the food has really gone off - I’ve just had my second bad experience. My lamb madras was not at all hot (mild, really) but worst of all was the meat. The lamb tasted like mutton - fine if it is very slow cooked. But this was as tough and chewy as old boots - like they’d flash-fried a cut of meat which needs to be cooked for a long time. I could barely cut it with a knife. I ended up picking out the chewy lamb/mutton and just eating the sauce and rice. I was given a plain naan when I’d ordered a garlic one. Time to find another Indian takeaway 😒

The best Indian takeaway in Cheltenham. Friendly staff and delivery drivers. You can get a free side with you order from their site directly. Personally I recommend the Chicken tikka Madras!

Best takeaway in Cheltenham hands down. Chicken Tikka Kebab is the best thing I've ever ordered from a takeaway before. 5/5 would eat again

I would give them 5 stars because there delivery is quick and the curry(when you find it) is very good. The problem is that each dish I ordered was stuffed full of chunks of fresh tomato and lemon. So whereas I though I was getting a lot, in reality 1/4 of the container of curry is filled with stuff I don't want/need.
