Curry Corner had no complaints so far food really good ...but last night's takeaway what can I say...ordered a mixed kebab which was over powering in mint really off putting , meat and chicken tasted sour my husband couldn't eat it...... I ordered a chicken chasni and fried rice have had no complaints on taste before but on this occasion when I opened the rice it had a funny smell so I decided to try a mouthful but unfortunately the taste was as bad and had a really horrible sour taste so that was the end off my chicken chasni not a good night for my takeaway.....so unfortunately it has to be a 1 star on this occasion. ......I'm hoping it was a one off....
This place has definitely gone downhill, food wise. Orders incorrect, food nowhere near as tasty as previously. Ordered a "special king naan kebab" and the bread was chapati sized, 3 tiny pieces of chicken/beef/lamb. They did replace it but next one arrived smothered in brown sauce??? Still with small pieces of meat and the donner meat was atrocious - I know donner meat isn't haute cuisine but jings, coloured, slippy plastic would be more appealing. What happened? Used to think this was the best takeaway in Lockerbie, I previously reviewed it as such, in October 2016 but, can't say the same now.
This used to be the place to get a takeaway in Lockerbie. It's gone down hill since the staff have changed. Greasy pizzas and bland tasteless Pakora. It's a real shame because it was once delicious and a cut above the rest.
Fried rice was stoggy not light and fluffy as it use to be. Chips was awful. Used to be really beautiful. It a shame defo won't be going back .
Great place to eat, I go for the hoggi is the best I have had in a long time and great value for money, seriously for the money, u pay, the portion is huge, only 4 stars because sometimes the waiting time can be long, but worth a look
Dirty, kids running about in the back, won't be back called curry corner yet no curries.. and if one complains there is no remorse just pathetic excuses.. yes its under new ownership darren and gail ayres....
So just tried to order a CURRY from CURRY CORNER, but just been told they don’t do CURRY any more! Take from that what you will, barking mad!
Used to recommend this place but it's under new ownership now... Give it a go but don't expect anything out of this world.
