We enjoyed the afternoon tea fundraiser! Our teapot was huge and we had a wonderful variety of cakes. Our table was right next to the horses...the girls loved it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Such a great charity looking after all types of animals. They go the extra mile, making sure all the animals are looked after well. They even make sure that animals will only be adopted by those who will be able to facilitate care for the long term. They even have volunteers who socialise with the animals so they have interaction.
The animal sanctuary is run by some of the loveliest people you will ever meet. Totally dedicated to supporting animals not 5 stars should be 100 stars
There was a variety of cats,from kittens to older cats whose owner could no longer have them. Everywhere was very clean and the volunteers very conscientious. Yes, they do home checks but as our cat had been abandoned previously I understand why they do them. I'm very happy to recommend anyone looking for a cat to pay them a visit.
So many rules and regulations when all we wanted to do was look after a cat. Apparantly we cannot adopt a cat as we live too near a main road. It's supposed to be about looking after animals and a nice experience. Our last cat lived 19 Years near this road unharmed as do several cats our neighbours have.We had later in a Sale rescue centre a perfect example of how to be. We have a lovely cat coming home next week.
This is by far, the nicest and most welcoming Rescue Centres I know of. The staff & volunteers work so hard looking after all the animals and give 110% to find them new homes. I fostered NERO after he was brought in as a stray to the Vet’s where I work, until the Centre had space for him. I also asked for help with MUFFIN recently, who had been abandoned in Wythenshawe. My mum had looked after her until the centre could take her. I cannot thank these wonderful people enough for what they do and I will continue to support them. The photographs I’ve added were of the Afternoon Tea on 23/8/20. This was a great day and I met Kevin one of the site cats & I wanted to Cat-Nap him because he was so adorable!
We’ve just adopted two lovely kittens from Wilmslow Animal Rescue Society. Thanks to all the volunteers who made the process really smooth for us, they were super helpful and friendly throughout!
