I hired a van at very short notice after I was let down by another company on moving day, the person at the office was very helpful and the cost reasonable, I would certainly recommend this company if you need a good reliable hire van, I certainly couldn’t fault their service at all.

I booked a van weeks ago to travel to France via the New Haven ferry. I was told to turn up at 8am to pick up the van and do the paper work. I rang the day before to check everything was OK and was told it was and to turn up at 8. I arrived at 8 but no one came until 8.20. No apologies or explanation. Then told the van I'd booked wasn't back but I could take another one. This was old and battered looking and about 10 years old, so I declined. The man then said the van I'd booked was due back and I should wait, though originally he said the problem was a cracked windscreen. He also said he hadn't known I was catching the ferry which wasn't true as I had given the van's registration to DFDS so he must have known. So I waited another half an hour but I had to leave in order to catch the ferry in my car. I have booked many cars and vans over the years but I have never come across such inefficiency and rudeness. The whole debacle has cost me a great deal of money as I was not able to collect the furniture and I will now have to pay for the furniture to be transported back to England another way. The service I received was abysmal and does not merit one star but I had to give a star in order to have this review posted.
